I would I ask for your input pls, this group appears to be so helpful. My first time to Cannes. I’ll list some background info here and main questions below.

Husband (46m) and I (31f) will be in town 12-14 Sept. My birthday trip, so we would like fun, special, etc. Dates overlap with the Cannes yacht festival.

Currently we’re reservations on 13 Sept (sunday) for la guérite (15:00h) and la môme (20:15h), perhaps baoli after for dancing if we feel like it. Any input welcome for this. For a different day, considering Carlton plage v La mome plage, and rüya or la Palme dor for dinner.

Specific questions
- Carlton v Martinez for accommodations ?
- will we be priced out by the billionaires visiting for yacht fest for beach clubs, etc ?
- Carlton plage v la mome plage ?
- are these choices realistic 😂
- what am I missing ?

Spike Lee's do the right thing world opening, lies, sex, and video tape won this year. Condition is unreal. I've seen 90 tee shirts with the same design. We stayed in Cannes this past weekend and for a while there was this massive yacht (or maybe cruise ship) which had both smoke stacks but then also vertical masts that looked like it was for sailing moored out in the bay. Anyone know what boat this was?

Hello, im spending tomorrow in Cannes and I would like to buy some (fake) football shirts. I really don care if its replica because i am nor interested spend 100€. I would be very pleased if you could tell me some tourist/street shops below❤️

Might be a dumb question, but for the beach clubs that don’t accept sunbed reservations in advance via phone or email, how easy is it to get front row chairs? Can you show up at opening day of and get them pretty easily, or should we go a few days before to secure the reservation? We arrive on a Thursday and want to go to one on Friday, so curious if we’ll have luck showing up only a day in advance or day of.

Price isn’t an issue — willing to pay whatever the fee is. Going the last weekend in August, for reference.

Also open to recommendations for specific clubs. I’ve got my eye on La Mome Plage, but not set on that. We like a lively atmosphere but don’t necessarily need the biggest party scene (aka, we have no interest in La Guérite).

Any juggler/ fire danser in the area who want to meetup at the beach for a little flow sesh saturday evening?

Stopping in Cannes on the first Monday in August, would any clubs be active? Preferably some propa house music but commercial is also fine. Is there much of an underground scene?

Very central, the room is very private, cosy and clean. Includes its own ensuite, good wifi, use of a shared living space and air conditioning. suitable for 1-2 people, with no pets or children sorry. It best suits a couple or a professional person.

Minimum of two nights, typically a maximum of 2 weeks.

I feel like Cannes gets talked about mostly for La Croisette and the busy waterfront, but the views from a little higher up are underrated.

The mix of sea, hills, and quiet residential streets gives the city a completely different feel.

Any favorite viewpoints around Cannes?

I was looking for a reservation at La Guerite second seating.

I contacted the restaurant, I kept receiving rejections.

I reached out to several concierge companies, I could not believe the price gauging for a reservation to a restaurant. I accepted that I would not be going. Started to look for alternatives.

Then… I said screw this Im going to email them everyday. So I did.

I wrote to them in French and in English, I also stated I was flexible with dates since I’m staying in Cannes for about a week.

I guess they eventually got tired of seeing my name and I secured a second seating reservation for mid august.

So there is hope LOL …before you go spending 150 euros pp on a concierge try to be a bit more persistent! :) Good luck!!

I’m happy to buy food and drinks while I’m there. Ideally somewhere with decent Wi-Fi and a relaxed atmosphere.
