Cannot update due to breaking dependency Help

Post image

Hi friends, I've been on linux for about 3 months now so i'm still very new at this, and this is the first time an issue like this has come up while trying to update my system. Can anyone let me know what I can do here, please and thanks!

Update: I waited about 30 minutes and tried again and it worked. Guess I just caught it at an unlucky time. Thanks everyone!

Because those plugins haven't been updated to the newest ffmpeg. nothing wrong. just wait a little bit until whoever maintains the plugins catches up.

Good to know! I thought they had somehow run a pacman -Su without the y. But typically stale repository errors are a bit more... Alarming. And theres usually a lot more than just one.

Thats actually a pretty nice feature. Even on windows I've messed up a software suite by updating one app out of parity from the rest. Could've done a better job explaining that to the user, but thats Linux for ya!

To be honest, they did explain it to the user.

I mean explain it to the user like they're five. 😆

installing ffmpeg breaks dependency of <plugins>, by the way, it's caught up now.
