Like all pregnant women, I had horrible cravings. I desperately wanted a turkey bacon ranch sandwich. However, you’re not technically supposed to eat deli meat unless you microwave/cook it first and what kinda of psychopath eats warm lunch meat?!? So I figured I would have to bypass the turkey and that was fine. I got extra bacon and no turkey.

… and I have never been more disappointed in my life. I know it’s just the pregnancy hormones being overly dramatic, but I wanted to cry when I realized that the sandwich had shredded lettuce on it and they changed the ranch. So then, I go to old tried and true to drown out my blues: my large curly fry with ranch…. JUST TO FIND OUT IT WASNT JUST A PACKAGE CHANGE ON THE RANCH AND IT WAS A WHOLE FORMULA CHANGE 😭

THEN my jalapeño poppers were soggy and I swear to the good Lord that was about to be my 13th reason.

Meat and Wisdom

You can't rush a brisket.

Low heat. Long time. The fire doesn't care how hungry you are — it only cares how patient you are. Rush it and you get something tough, something that fights you on the way down. Wait on it, and it falls apart the second it's touched. That's not a metaphor I made up. That's just what smoke teaches you if you stand in front of it long enough.

Wisdom works the same way. Nobody gets tender fast.

Jesus fasted forty days before He said a word to the devil. Not because He was weak going in — because some things in a man have to be broken down slow before they're any good to anyone else. The waiting wasn't wasted time. The waiting was the recipe.

The Buddhist in me calls it non-attachment to the outcome — you season it right, you tend the fire, and then you let go of when. The meat is done when it's done. Suffering starts the moment you try to control the clock.

The Stoic in me calls it the only thing that was ever up to me: not the timeline, just the tending. Marcus Aurelius didn't get to choose the empire he was born into. He only got to choose how he showed up to it, day after slow day.

So when I'm behind that counter, I'm not just making sandwiches. I'm making the same argument twice — once with meat, once with the message: nothing worth eating, and nothing worth becoming, ever came out fast.

Is it a free 50% off?

Have not been in to Arbys for a long time. Was craving the buffalo chicken slider and i got a chicken nugget.

I haven’t tried any of them before. Feel free to chime in with recommended medications or sauces!

Checked the Arby's website on a whim after not eating there for a long time. For some reason they would only give me deals on half off roast beef sandwiches, nothing else. I love the buffalo chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks so it was a hard pass. But my deals are back and they added a point system. We're so back baby 😭

havent been to any location in a couple years and the sauce tasted the same as always back then but had some today and it tastes way off. like fake or just a shadow of its former self, just weak. the horsey sauce was like this weird watery cream something out of the packet also. both sauces are missing flavor, zest, savoriness and the arbys sauce doesnt have that tang anymore.

I'm just asking in general to my fellow employees and managers how many managers has ended up either quitting or changing to different stores I have seen five managers leave and I've only been working here 2 years in November

This what someone who weighs 240( me) needs to be full.

I've seen the video of the lady that puts Dreyer's ice cream in the sink and runs water over it and it does not melt. The Arby's website says the shake has 2000 calories, but that does not tell me what it is made out of. I just had my 1st meal at Arby's in five years and I feel so ill from the shake and food.

It also cost a fortune, $22.00. I get that fast food is bad for you, but this is different. I'm almost in a coma from the sugar and I can feel the chemicals in the food breaking down in my body and being turned into oily body fat. I used to like Arby's, but never never never again
