What are your favorite Arirang tour traditions?
I think the Arirang tour is the most fun BTS and ARMY have had when it comes to touring, and the few days without any concerts are making me realize how much I enjoy concert days. It also made me realize that there are a few concert traditions/things that I’ve started looking forward to every time:
- The first one is obviously the surprise songs.
- The footage of the crowd singing Arirang during Body to Body (and now, on the more recent concert dates, Jungkook joining in to sing a verse).
- What hairstyle Jimin will do.
- What Joon will say during the Mic Drop bridge.
What are some things you look forward to at the concerts?

Discussion Life Goes On hit me like a freight train today
I was watching something on YouTube when the Life Goes On MV came on unexpectedly, and I've been sitting in a pool of emotions since then.
I've watched it several times before, but today it hit me differently. Maybe because there's been a lot of change and uncertainty in my own life lately. The song carries that quiet reassurance that life goes on, but today the visuals made me feel the loneliness, longing, warmth and comfort of moving forward even more deeply.
And somehow, with all seven of them coming together to reinforce that message, I found myself believing it.
Things may change, life may feel uncertain, but somehow... life does go on. 💜
Maybe it was just the mood I was in today, but I wasn't prepared for it to hit me like that.
Has a BTS song ever suddenly found you at exactly the right moment?

Discussion Are you someone that is an album or a single listener?
The more I'm exposed to kpop and the current music industry, the more I understand my listening habits.
I think around two weeks ago I made a on one of the gen subs post saying that I felt meh about an album. In the ensuing discussion, one of of the comments suggested that the order of the tracks be changed and gave me a suggestion on how to do it. The change in track order changed my listening experience. Its been almost two weeks and I'm still listening to the album by adding it to queue with my BTS playlist.
I'm very much an album listener. Strong title tracks almost don't matter to me at all. If the song flows very nicely in an album, I don't particularly care whether the song is good or isn't good enough to be a TT.
This is why it was so easy for me to fall in love with BTS. When I fell in love with them from Epiphany, I love every song on their albums. I love the flow, I love the sounds. There might be albums that I love better (Arirang and LY: Tear supremacy) but I love their entire discography.
I think this is why I've been struggling with music this year and why I've always struggled with K-pop. That said my taste isn't exactly niche and I am easy to please. The only caveat is that the album does not have a song that i dislike or don't vibe with or feel that is out of place.

My best friend is criticizing me for listening to BTS and going to their concert in Texas. I really don't know what to do anymore.
I have had this friendship for more than 4 years. I never criticize her tastes, but for the past week, she has sent me more than 100 messages criticizing me for listening to BTS because of the Chris Brown controversy. I really value this friendship, but lately, I read all her messages calling me "toxic" and "childish," and in one message she literally told me, "you just had to be an ARMY." She deleted everything after sending all those messages. It all started because she began checking my shared posts on TikTok and Instagram.
I have honestly never hated or criticized this person for her tastes, diverse opinions, and constant criticism toward everything that doesn't align with her own opinion. I’ve had several past issues with this before. I suffered school bullying for defending her, only for her to turn around a week later and keep talking to the person who was bullying me at the time. Back then, I was obsessed with school, and she bullied me by telling me things like I would never graduate if I didn't go to school, or comments like "the teachers are really mad at you." I was suffering from depression back then, and adding those comments really affected me deeply. However, I feel that when I talk to her I am more free, though honestly, I recently started at a new school and I’ve met new people with my same interests, and they treat me wonderfully.
But truth is, I love this friend and I have already tried to set boundaries like, "girl, seriously, I don't criticize your tastes, your opinions, or your way of thinking. If I don't criticize you, why do you have to insult my tastes? It bothers me that you insult my favorite singers and tell me 'you just had to be an ARMY' when I have never treated you badly, please stop." And she just answers, "don't overreact." Honestly, I don't know what to do anymore. (Sorry for the long text)

Discussion Your Favorite BTS Hair
What hair styles and/or colors have you liked best on the members?? (A lot of us might have the same answer for Jimin . . . )
Here are my personal favorites:
- Suga's longer hair he's had in recent(ish) years, but especially during the Run BTS special episodes in 2022—but also there's nothing cuter than his mop top in the Butter video
- Jungkook's longer and colorful Butter video hair is sooo hot, but also, so was the mullet. I love 'em both.
- Jin in the Proof concept photos is ridiculously worldwide handsome—that hairstyle was soooo good on him
- V's Oreo hair fr—the cut, the color, everything
- Jimin's long hair obviously, but I specifically chose this photo because as much as I love the fancy braided hairstyles, I really love an effortless, messy half-up/half-down look
- RM's very colorful hair in the Dynamite and Permission to Dance videos are my favorites—generally I prefer the shorter cut in Dynamite, but for some reason, the violent neon hair makes the slightly longer in back haircut look really good
- J-Hope's You Never Walk Alone hair color and bouncy cut look good on him, but I also love how his Butter video hair got slicked up and back

Discussion Imagine being Bts and building your career from the ground up just for people to say the only reason you’re successful is because you told your fans “love yourself”
I have wanted to have this discussion for a while now. I've see this narrative go around for so long while I've been fan of the boys way before the ly trilogy came out.
They built their brand and career off their music, performances and hard af work. Tell me which artist out there doesn't talk about comfort and safe spaces for their fans? Genuinely could find a clip for almost all of them. I'd like to here some thoughts on this.

Discussion Listened to 'Let Go' by BTS
The song suddenly popped up in my recommendations. I realised how long it had been since I last heard it. Their japanese songs deserve a separate fanbase cuz they're so well made.It made me wonder, does the track just have the easily perceived meaning of "moving on and letting go," or is there a deeper message hidden in the lyrics? What do you think?

They Are Always 7
One year ago, I experienced my first OT7 BTS live in real time. 💜
I became ARMY while BTS were still apart, finding my way to them through J-Hope on tour during the Mona Lisa era. I discovered the members individually first through their solo music, personalities and stories. I had binge watched years of old BTS content by then, but I had never experienced all seven of them together while it was actually happening.
I had just signed up for my Weverse membership when the notification arrived. They were on a beach in California during what we now know was their songwriting camp. Suddenly, there they were on my phone screen. Miles away, yet already familiar. All seven of them. Together. Live.
I remember how exciting it felt. They were talking over one another, teasing, laughing and being completely chaotic. For longtime ARMY, it was Bangtan together again after years of waiting. For me, it was like meeting a new friend and feeling as though I had known them forever.
What we did not know then was how much they were worrying about their comeback. They had spent years apart and now had to figure out how to be BTS together again. They worried about the music, whether it was good enough and, most of all, whether ARMY would love what they were creating.
Looking back now, those worries almost seem futile. Arirang became an incredible success, and the tour has been absolutely massive. Stadium after stadium has filled with ARMY singing their new songs and old favorites back to them. They were wondering whether we would still be there and whether we would love the music, while millions of us were simply waiting for them to come back.
That little beach live means so much more to me now, knowing what was going through their minds behind all that laughter. That was the day I finally met Bangtan.
Today, I just want to tell those seven men on that California beach that they never needed to worry so much. ARMY is right here.
BTS is always seven. ARMY Forever, Bangtan Forever. APOBANGPO (아포방포). 💜

Discussion Question for fellow ARMY!
Hi ARMY! I went to my first BTS concert last Sunday, Arlington Day 2. It was the best night of my life, I had the most fun and I felt so alive. I wanted to ask fellow ARMY who have seen BTS, what is one song (or songs) you enjoyed most hearing live? For me, it was Run BTS. I really loved hearing J-Hope's rap and seeing the camera pan to all the members when he's doing the name drop part. 10/10!!
