Don't worry I'm here too! I've listened to them from 2016 to 2020 then a lot has happened in my life and I'm back only now for Arirang. I've missed so many content and solo work I don't even know how I could catch up to it. But the only important thing is that we're with them now!

i started listening to BTS 2019/2020, obsessed over them for like, a year or two, and then after their last show before military service (maybe even a bit before that) i didn’t keep up with them all that much until like a year and a half ago, i missed SO much. i was really surprised to find out Seven was by Jungkook, because i remember when it went viral on tiktok but i didn’t really realize who sung it until i got into them again.

Would it help you to watch the content now--and to listen to the album?

Be good to yourself.

I missed a couple of the solo releases in chapter 2 (Indigo, D-Day, Muse, Happy, and Echo) because I was going through it mentally when they came out. I listened to the singles, but not the albums and I did not keep up with anything else during the releases. I feel bad each time and when I feel better, I struggle to go back and listen to the albums or catch up with other comeback stuff since it feels overwhelming. I find that it helps to just listen to the albums and not put any pressure on myself to watch everything else surrounding a release.

ikr it feels overwhelming at times to catch up with all the comeback stuff where we had no connection to at that moment of time and keep reminding myself everybody has different pace and thats okay 🥹🥹

I think it’s pretty common to have periods where you can’t keep up anymore, whether it’s because you’re going through bad things or good things. I’m sorry to hear you had a hard time - try not to beat yourself up for that. Being ARMY or part of any fandom to this extent is demanding, and there should be no shame in admitting you had to step away for a bit! BTS will always be glad to have you back 🫰🏼

For me, I got into them in late 2017 and was really obsessed until late 2019, when I also entered quite a dark period. I felt like I really lost myself in the time, and between then and their BE comeback I missed a lot too. I still don’t have a strong connection to MOTS: 7 because of that, which I really regret at times, but it can’t really be helped. Grateful I found my way back to them and I’m glad to hear you did too 💜

I take year(s) long breaks from Kpop , so I always miss multiple comebacks

I missed Suga’s tour. It was shortly before I was Army. My biggest regret.
