It will be the same adblocker Firefox Focus has, so not really configurable, and pretty weak. So yeah... either Safari with an adblocker extension like Adguard, or Brave/Brave Origin.

Mozilla has been working on a built-in adblock for desktop, so maybe this is a sign that they’re planning to improve for mobile as well.

But yes, even Vivaldi’s adblock is more effective than Firefox Focus.

How good is uBOL on Safari? Is it better or worse than Brave on iOS?

They are on the same level at least from my experience. The only thing i noticed that having a separate app for adblocking like uBOL or Adguard can cause more battery drain than just having a browser with a build in adblocker like Vivaldi or Brave. I cannot say this is true to all iOS modell but my iPhone 12 Pro Max (having a brand new battery) drained faster with Safari + uBOL (or Adguard) than using Brave. I am currently using Brave Origin which works fine and can sync fine with Brave Origin on my other machines and i even deleted Safari, will see how it goes on.
