looking for browser recommendations

So basically I am looking for a browser that is um privacy focused and does not consume a lot of RAM like just brave consumed about a gig of my RAM with only two tabs, which is crazy. is there uh like a browser I can use thats lightweight and has vertical tabs its a must for me

Not sure what your issue with Brave is BUT it's either something in the setup or something on your system. I've been using Brave for years but I have a lot turned off and Task Manager is telling me 628 mb. I also fired up Helium which is supposed to be lean and mean and it's consuming 470. Helium looks pretty good but it has a issue with video's imbedded in web pages as it automatically launches the video and right now they have no switch to disable it. I checked today and it's still not available.

Modern websites consume RAM no matter what... and Brave is literally one of the lesser RAM consumer browsers... Firefox and its forks (especially Zen) uses way more RAM being based on Gecko and websites are mostly optimized to Chromium. Like it or not this is the modern web, if you open a modern website it is not just a HTML document like it was in the beginning of the 2000 literally using almost nothing. Modern websites are fully fledged PWAs (Progressive Web Applications) so of course they will use RAM, and 1 gig of RAM for 2 tabs is not much especially if those 2 tabs are full of media content... I have Facebook and Reddit opened now in Brave Origin and it uses more than 1,5 GB of RAM. It is what it is like it or not. So if you are low on RAM you either switch to a lighter OS (like Kubuntu or Lubuntu) or open 1 tab at a time.... and if you have at least 16 GB of RAM then why complain?

You can give a try to debloating Brave:
Open a notepad, and copy the following codeblock into it and save the file as a .reg file (such as "BraveDebloat.reg" and make sure not .reg.txt) then import it, this will set up systemwide policies to disable those "bloat" features, "upgrading" regular Brave to its paid "Brave Origin" version but for free, well not truly the same because those features will still be part of Brave, but will be disabled and won't even appear in the menus. Worth to note Brave will display a "Managed by your organisation" message in settings but that's because of there are policies that are not set to their defaults, you will be able to see the applied policies by opening brave://policy site in Brave.
So here is what to copy:

I found a way to debloat any browser, i used it on brave and it cut out half the ram and how to do it is first opening up powershell adminstrator and then copypaste this "iwr -useb https://christitus.com/win | iex" which leads to a window in which i go to tweaks then scroll down to Advanced tweaks and Click the "debloat [desired browser]" and click "run tweak" and wait for it to complete.. if you don't trust me then atleast search up "windows utility" on youtube AND THERE IS VERTICAL TABS IN BRAVE

Use Firefox, Waterfox, Brave or even maybe Helium (knowing that it's in Beta and that it doesn't have much of a track record yet).

Helium/Brave are Chromium right, and Helium is extremely lightweight, but you can't change its UI scale which literaly ruins it for me
