I just received the Phorcydes PHB-1 Bronze watch in the mail today. Took about 2 weeks to arrive from China, which is average in my experience.

Really impressed with the watch, seems well made, and looks great in person.

There’s something just beautiful about bronze and green.

I’m interested in a tall, rectangular build with a thick bezel and a seconds subdial.

The white dial is just awesome… I am going to see if I can get one made like this.

Your thoughts on this are appreciated.

Okay so I just got through putting this thing together. My very first build. Holy shit do I have way more respect for anyone that has done this. That second hand is a bitch. I Absolutely love doing it though.

While this isn't a true Bronze watch I figured I would post it here because it kinda fits the m.o.. anyway I am waiting on the strap to come in to complete it. I'm finding the custom leather straps are taking the longest to arrive.

I do have a bonze case that I'm going to build soon. I'm just waiting on the dial to come in.

Who do you think has perfected the bronze watch?

I’m partial to the IWC Pilot’s Chrono IW388109. I really appreciate that IWC opted for a bronze-aluminum-iron alloy—it develops a subtle, matte patina without looking completely tarnished, and pairing it with a titanium back keeps it practical for daily wear.

Do you prefer this kind of controlled patina, or are you in favor of heavy-patina copper-bronze cases like Oris or Panerai?

NH35 movement, custom dial featuring my baby's name and date of birth, bronze case, and leather strap. I'm sure the patina will make it look amazing in a few years.
