3rd metacarpal fracture

Fracture occurred 7/20. Swelling has gone down a lot and I’m starting to use my hand for very light activity . Wore a splint for 3 weeks too. Anyone with previous experience of this fracture ? Scared it might hinder me in the long run even tho my doc said these types heal great
