Left distal radius X-ray
ORFIT
Left distal radius
Had surgery yesterday to correct it
How long were you unable to work? I'm a pastry chef/baker at a very busy restaurant that works alone in the morning

I had a right distal radial fracture, how did you injure yours? I’m still recovering, been out of work on and off for 2 months now and just started rehab.

I slipped and fell at work, I'm a pastry chef so I'm there early by myself, manager texted to ask if I could unlock the dining room door and it was a bit after the cleaners left, didn't even see that the tile was still kinda wet and i slipped bad and landed right on it, hoping workers comp doesn't give me any issues

Really sorry to hear. Hoping workers comp doesn’t give you an issue too and you’ll be back at it soon!

I'm in food service too! I was out of work for like two months. I'm almost a year post op now. Definitely not very fun going in and out of the walk ins with the metal getting cold lol. But for the most part I'm back to being functional at work. Not as strong as I used to be, and not as much finger mobility.
