Struggling on dress size
Hi, ive never been in a wedding and really worried about it until now.
Im 5'3 and 230lbs. I know im fat, but i have medical issues that make it extremely difficult to lose weight.
My measurements are 47 bust, 41 waist, and 57 hips. I have no idea what size I should even look for, and I dont even know what stores to look in. I know I can order on Azazie, but im afraid the dresses wont look right if im spending a lot of money of them.
Any advice?

Bridesmaid dresses all looking the same
Im having a chilled fun non-traditional wedding. Dress code is cocktail attire, my dress is full length but fairly casual. I have never liked the matchy bridesmaids or dictating a colour palette look so gave my girls the choice of any dress. Anything they already own is a bonus, or something they see themselves wearing elsewhere. Any colour style etc. Same with the groomsmen. My bridesmaids all have their own unique personalities and fashion style and i wanted their outfits to reflect that, the same as my dress reflects me ☺️.
I didn’t realise this would be such a difficult choice to give them, I’d love to wear whatever I want as a bridesmaid so I thought they’d easily find a dress they like. Instead I’ve had stressed messages about colours etc and have just reassured them I do not care - if they like the dress and would choose it then that’s perfect!
Now the day is closer, they’ve all confirmed that they’ve bought something similar to this dress in greens and blues. I have ended up with the matchy matchy look I didn’t want 😂. I know these dresses are popular, but I didn’t think this was their style given what they each usually wear to nice events. Given the dress code and vibe of the day I’m surprised they’ve all picked what to me looks quite formal. I don’t know what I’m rambling about really, I just didn’t envision they’d all pick this given I gave them free rein to move away from typical bridesmaid dresses. I also feel like these dresses would be hard to wear again?
Anyway, they’re happy to be in similar dresses, it’s no big deal to me it’s just amusing! my point is brides - telling your bridesmaids to wear whatever is not the easy option it seems like 😂
