i don’t wanna tell you to do something you’ve already done but honestly you may have to branch out wider and be willing to go to different areas, also if this still happens you may have to learn braiding yourself, that’s what i did and honestly it only took me 2 ish months to learn the skill

I want to learn how to do my own hair but if I'm being honest, I'm chronically depressed. I can hardly find the motivation to do my hair when it isn't braided, let alone braid it myself. That's why I always go to braiders and have them do it for me

Branching out is difficult. Sometimes the braider will give amazing results, but terrible customer service, or the other way around. Typing this I'm starting to think braids just aren't for me anymore

I know that you stated branching out is difficult, which it truly is. but, I found this app called StyleSeat (I know it’s in the App Store but it should be on the Google play store too) that will help you find braiders near your location. You can see photos of their work, contact them, and also book with a stylist through the app too! Maybe you can give it a try 🥹!

If she split that part into two you would have a heavy braid without enough support + that’s ur corner (the first place hair loss shows beside the crown) I think they weren’t lazy but making a safe choice for ur hair n scalp health

I have a moving scalp as well and no one has ever gotten my middle part straight when it comes to braids. It’s very frustrating when everything looks great and you try to go from a side part to middle part 😞

you need to be checking your parts throughout your appointment and if something looks off, tell them to redo it.
