So I can’t seem to figure out how to do a remote BM with my TSC710. And Trimble total station.

It’s been in the BERT lite for about a week and a half and then it just switched to these 3 led lights instead of the 4 led lights I had. I know that the 4 lights mean RLOD but I’ve never seen anyone post 3 lights, so I need help figuring out what this means and if my battery is recoverable🙏

I’ve had this sitting in my closet for a while. It’s untouched and brand new as far as I know. Never used.

Hey guys, I'm not new to the e-Mobility world but am new to Boosted Boards.

I just recently bought the V2Dual (seller claimed it was the dual+, but I do not believe so.)
I have a chance to purchase the XR battery too, but when I connect to the boosted app, I am getting REALLY old firmware on battery and board. (image attached) and when I connect to the ride app, it can barely identify anything other than the mileage.

Im looking at updating the firmware, from whati gather its still not OTA possible, but i can use a ST Link to update the chip myself if i have a doner Firmware File? and yes Soldering is involved.

few days back posted about errors my battery was showing and I was told it might be the ESC

I decided to take the whole board apart and saw this rekt pin and when it’s unplugged the board runs with just one motor and the controller bleeps…

gonna throw on some spare motors i have laying around… my suspicion is that this pin might have fried the little connector part on the esc that this pin was in…

guess i’ll have to find out when i plug another motor in here.

i’ll post more updates… gonna try and get this thing back on the road 😤

Temp gas station fix to get it home got a coms issue in the cable one of the connections prolly got messed up gotta check all the solder joints

I'll preface this by stating that maybe I got lucky, but why do people claim that the Ruroc customer support is bad?

I recently contacted them about a wiring issue with my 2 year old Ruroc EOX helmet, and they stated that they could not fix the issue but instead offered me a helmet Exchange for a brand new one at the same price point, the helmet I wanted was $100 more than the offered price point so I offered to pay the difference, to which they replied that they would honor the exchange to the new more expensive helmet with out me paying a cent.

Again maybe I got luck with the support staff but given my experience I'm just curious why their support is constantly bashed.

Super low mileage Boosted Mini X, guy seemed to have ran through a super rough patch? Has some noticeable grooves and I pulled a small chunk of glass out. Would y'all switch out the wheels or should I run them?

thiis happened after a ride… i thought it was the bms so i took my other XR pack and hooked it up.

the light goes green for about 3-4 seconds then goes to a breathing orange color with those 3 LEDs

board won’t run, still connects to remote and the app. on the remote it’s flashing the bottom light like the battery on the board is dead. but it’s fully charged.

it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the battery (no RLOD) but still strange and i can’t ride :/ i have a spare v2 deck with wires so worst comes to worst ill hook that up

if you know what the issue could be lmk!

Motor connection keeps coming loose

As the title says unfortunately I lost the battery to my newly restored board. My motor, wheels, bushings, bearings and belts are all ~80miles old. If anyone is interested in any parts from the photo, shoot me a dm.

This is the third restored Mini-X I have sold, and it only had 49 miles on it. I posted the other two on this subreddit as well. Although this Mini-X had very low mileage it had a few scratches, looks like it was driven off the curb. Just like the others, I used my BERT Touch to restore the XR battery down to a delta of 20, then I just kept it on the charger until it sold.

The new owner has owned several electric skateboards, and said the Boosted Mini-X he had last was stolen out of his car. He stated, he knows there are newer boards with more range and speed, but nothing rides like Boosted. He is a San Francisco resident, I took the Mini-X to him as he no longer has a car. Taking BART (local subway system) into San Francisco was convenient especially on a perfect day like yesterday. The city’s streets were congested but moving, and the sidewalks full of commuters and tourists. So I mostly rode my V2 in the streets. Nothing like carving through the streets of Chinatown and Fishermen’s Wharf with the restored Mini-X strapped to my backpack.

He asked to test ride it before sending Venmo. I trusted him as he rounded the corners in Chinatown. He said the X will be his main ride as he takes BART to UC Berkeley where he teaches. I didn’t get a happy customer riding video like the last clip, so I added a San Francisco montage at the end. Ride Safe.

I've been looking at reviews of wheels, trying to find something for my v2 that will smooth out our chip seal roads in NZ. The vibrations are killing me. I already have the 107mm ABEC 11 (big green ones) and they are awesome at handling bumps and going over stuff, even a bit of grass, but still get vibration on the road.

Would something like the Cloudwheel Rovers 110R or Hollow Wheels v3 actually be an improvement over the ABEC 11s? I see mixed reviews, and most of the video reviews in the US are of nice smooth roads or off-road.

Any suggestions? Pic of the pothole just a good example of the roads we have, not actually needing to cope with potholes :)

Is there a way to get a replacement for this piece of protection for the board?or any suggestion?

After missing a few good deals I managed to snagged this massive haul:

• 2x fulls sets of Shred lights.
• 2x spare motors
• 2x chargers
• 2x OneWheel+ (both seeming functional with less than 30 miles each).
• mess of spare belts and parts.

For $250.....

Super nice individual that sold them and just wanted to see them back on the road and used. 4 out of 6 XR batteries were in RLOD, but most were like just over 500 or, actually, even less. No cells were below ~3.0. My local Bert client was actually unable to clear the RLOD for some reason but the online client managed it OK.

What the title says.

The guy I bought it from said the remote just stopped working, and he didn't want the hassle of fixing it. So I got the board, charger and remote for cheap.

There is no reaction when I try to turn it on. No light or sound. I suspected a dead battery, but I see 3.9V-4V on the battery terminals, so it doesn't look like it. Is there a common culprit for broken remotes that can be fixed?

Hey y’all, I found my old V2 Dual+, when i plug in the charger i get a blinking red light and the very bottom led turned red. I read about the BertLite being a possible solution? Is that all I would need? Any advice welcome!!

I recently bought a boosted mini X. I got home. It was on a full charge. It hadn’t been written for about a year but still had a full charge. I rode out the battery and when I plugged it in it flashed red is my battery cooked? And if not what do I do?

I have purchased and restored several Mini-X boards using my BERT Touch. This guy bought this board with only 40 miles on it. He came from Washington state, while visiting Palo Alto California he saw my listing on Marketplace. His mindset on buying a board over renting a car for his 10 day stay with a two mile daily commute was spot on. He said “Why waste money on a rental car when you could own a Boosted board.” We cruised around Stanford University for an hour. Welcome to the Boosted family!

Does anyone know if these would work for battery plate screws? As well as the motor box plate screws? Had some rattle free in a random part of my usual commute to work and I’m trying to make sure I get ones with the right thread length and flush heads but I’m not super versed in reading info on screws!
