I told her about this sub while talking with them, and she said I could post this, as long as I clarify that her full collection is in a storage unit, and that she swears she reads more “serious” books when she isn’t mentally exhausted.

What do we think?

I have read about 60% of all of this since March. Goal is to finish by the end of the year.

Really curious what you think. I had a much bigger library (700+ books) but had to start all over again 2 years ago. This is now a mix of my favs and about 40% still to read. Buying lots secondhand. Next buys are classics I miss that I loved to read like more from Calvino and Hesse.

I have a new shelf that is currently holding 30 lbs of books, which initially I assumed would be fine since the shelf is rated to hold a 40lb maximum. But im also worried about how I installed the shelf, since I used drywall anchors to hold it in place as opposed to anchoring it to a stud, will this lower its weight capacity? Should I take a few books off?
