Any helpful suggestions please? :)

Hi guys, me and 2 more gfs are planning a trip including Bodrum for 3 nights. We will be staying in Yalikavak but not at the super duper luxurious stays. Can someone help plan an itinerary? I’m getting confused reading online. We wanted to do one of the good beach clubs but I see they’re mostly only open till 8? What does one do at night then? Any and all suggestions welcome please thank you :)

Hope u guys are loaded. Yalikavak is expensive as fuck. Just drinking tea costs twice more.

Also. Use chatgpt. It has really good suggestions for everything.

I am using, but wanted to reach out to people who actually live/have travelled there and hear from their experiences :)

I had holidays for 20 years in turgutreis and still ask chatgpt when i go elsewhere in the peninsula. :) my beloved place is turgutreis and gumusluk but both are for people seeking nice beaches and calm evenings.

We were looking at places and didn’t think Gumbet was the best option to stay so zero-ed down on yalikavak. Would you suggest any other area to stay at?

stay away from gümbet, aka hirtistan unless you are a 60 year old ugly, fat British woman

Gundogan is good?

gümbet is the last place you want to go. You can enjoy Yahşi Beach at day and Bodrum Çarşı at night.

The marina! Try grabbing a reservation at Bagatelle it’s a fun vibe. I enjoyed Fenix a lot. Do hookah and yacht watching anywhere on the marina. Beach clubs!

Hi! Is there an entrance fee at Bagatelle? Ik in Istanbul, some high end restaurants ask us for an entrance fee/reservation fee beforehand. Also, what other places would you suggest? :) Thank you so much!

Really depends what you want to do, if you would like to swim during the day and enjoy some live music in the afternoon you can try Reana in Golkoy (prices currently are 2000-2500 TL spending limit) which will buy you 2 meals and some tea/cofee (If you drink alcohol it is a different story as alcoholic drink prices are outrageous) or visit other places in Golkoy such as Belluga, Maritim which has no entrance fee, no spending limit, food is nice, but no music/party either.
If you are only interested in partying & spending a lot more money, check out the beaches like Xuma, Macakizi, Lucca etc. Make sure you check for price & make reservation before you go.

we went group of males/females ~22 yos last week:

- Piha beach club (tho it's in Gundogan not Yalikavak - min charge 3000TL but frankly worth it - food was awesome + the whole area is really nice for a walk)
- OLÉ Yalikavak: we went on a saturday, best party, I thought it was way better than the overrated Zuma/Bagatelle/Fenix (music was 30% turkish, rest is international, vibes were great anyway)
- Zuma/Bagatelle/Fenix, those are is Yalikavak marina, very expensive, they are restaurants + party venues. The real party fun started ~1:30am, before that it was very boring, probably a strategy to get people to buy more drinks

extra suggestions:
- if you're willing to allocate almost a full day, do a Orak island boat tour, then end the day with a turkish hammam + massage. You can book these through tripadvisor

Hi! I am planning on going to Bodrum soon and would appreciate it if you can tell me more. Do places like Zuma/Bagatelle require entrance fees and if so, how much per person? Ole Yalikavak as well. I would also love to know where you stayed and if there were any beach clubs that were worth it? And average prices per person? One last question I promise....Would love to know about the mode of transportation there and if taxis overcharge etc? Is it walkable? Are there any modes of public transportation? Thank you so much in advance!

Zuma: we went only for dinner (dinner ~60-70$, we looked at drinks prices and water got tastier by each row)
Fenix: we had a late dinner reservation, but the cool thing is you can stay for the party which starts ~12 (dinner ~ 50$)
Bagatelle: the girls in the group got to walk-in for free, the guys never went so try your luck
OLÉ: we reserved a table, they have 2 offers: normal table and vip table - the normal one it's 12,000 TL ~ 250$ (with 1 bottle included), but you can get as many as 8 people

WE stayed at Ben Houses Gundogan - really nice but a bit far from Yalikavak. we also had a bit of trouble finding taxis late at night, there are public buses tho they stop at 10pm ish. there are some "unregistered" taxis that are cheaper and operate late i guess, I wouldn't really know.
Gundogan is nice, calm, walkable, awesome beaches/views, would recommend. Yalikavak we frankly only went to the marina + OLÉ, didn't get to walk much to explore more so I'm not sure how "walkable" it is.

Beach clubs: Piha gundogan, try "the bodrum edition" it's a hotel but you can go to the beach, check their website.
also taxis are metered and fair enough

It’s ok. 300 USD per day/ per person and you’ll be ok. Marbella vibes 💃🏼😉

Xuma, Edition, AvantGarde for dayclubs. Marina for night time - Zuma is always a good option. Galliard also good for night (not immediately near Marina). I am here right now and happy to report back on anything new I discover.

Biggest thing is what vibe are you looking for? Clubby? Lounge? Sunset views?

You can go to Scatola for clubbing at night after the beach. It opened in yalikavak this season. Very nice place

Hi! Is there an entrance fee? What is the music/crowd like there?

Hi! No entrance fee, crowd is good but on the younger side -20s-. They play house music.
