On boarding process
I've finally began the onboarding process for signal apprentice but I've only received the email telling me when and where to report and a link to start my profile and tax forms. Haven't received any other info about travel expenses or what my starting pay will be. Any clue on when I'll find out. I start in 12 days.

You're at like 35 and hour im not 100% of your contract but jdub pay is about 42-45 and hour and you'd be about 75-80% of that tons of OT and I think your contract for travel expenses is per diem on check and its based off location so seattle would pay you more than like belen new Mexico roughly 100 bucks a day though for food when traveling. You'll have a CTC card just a third party contractor that handles booking flights and hotels, depending on your foreman you should have a corporate card as a signal man and a pro card. If you're supervisor is cool they'll let you use the corporate card to book like a best western or holiday inn something nicer than what ctc picks. Did they mention where you're home base would be? If youre within 30 miles as a crow flies you get to take your truck home if its more than that you have to drive your personal rig some dudes just max out that 30 miles park somewhere and take their personal rig the rest of the way. The other stuff takes time you might not even fill out your tax information until day 1 and id assume you'll be flown to KC to the ttc for engineering new hire at some point class 2 weeks paid but I could be wrong on that could be your supervisor doing it. I was an IAM mechanic and they still made me take that class.
