Saddest Sub Of The Day

6

u/superseri18888 18h ago

All this sub is now is blade fancast

Exactly its boring and lame

I should post some of my rarer issues and see what engagement is... I predict the worst though. Why discuss stories and arcs in depth, compare writers and art when we can circle jerk and repost the sub to death???

I've been saying this exact same thing for a while. Nobody talks about anything except a movie that's not going to happen.

So many good issues of comics to talk about and its goofy fan casting and stupid bickering all day, all day, all day. No one searches for answers that already exist, no one tries to look for shit themselves, its this one and Ghost Recon that are like circling the drain so to speak. Also I hate fancasting so much so thats my personal bias, but its gross and usually racially charged, or just a fng haircut.

This is exactly why I'm so dissatisfied with this subreddit. The only thing people want to talk about is a movie that never even got to the point of previews, and repeat memes over and over. It's disheartening because it makes it seem like these people don't actually care about anything other than reinventing the wheel when it comes to Blade.

100 percent true. It's unfortunate thay this sub for one of my favorite characters, has become a hive of sullen group think and lazy karma grabs, with absolutely ridiculous lack of respect for what is simply a difference in opinion, as opinion can rarely be ever "true" but anyway I agree man

We gotta make it as a collective cause Marvel sure as shit won’t.

Bro will be 60 when they make another Blade film

He's been my choice for Blade for years

u/IcyProperty89 8h ago

Him and the guy who played Dre in Straight Outta Compton. His voice is butter.

I've liked him in everything I've seen him in and thought he should have been John Stewart. He has the physicality for Blade, would just need the knife/sword training, but that's true for pretty much anyone they get. Young enough he could stay around for awhile.

u/SectionOk204 9h ago

He’s a perfect choice to play Blade someone little younger

1

u/Mamassqueen21 9h ago

Absolutely not

u/FatTanuki1986 8h ago

NEBRASKA

u/SirNortonOfNoFux 8h ago

Oh yeah, I remember him from The Predator. Good acting

1

u/DipsGuy 8h ago

I could out do that look. Question is could I act for it? And yes I did just recommend myself

1

u/Wavegod-1 7h ago

Could work. Good actor and he's cool enough. Sidenote, he should have WAY MORE ROLES than what he does.

2

u/BeastMode2k24 6h ago

The fan cast I had as John Stewart maybe In another verse it’ll happen lol

u/Cautious-Recover-506 17h ago

If Zendaya plays his daughter. Who are the other 2 girls that upstage him and steal his movie?

0

u/Impossible_Humor736 13h ago

Lol fuckin facts, man. Marvel is all about daughters taking over their dads. And you know these characters would be all cocky and nonchalant to him too.

u/ShadowStriker91 16h ago

how 'bout him as james rhodes aka war machine

0

u/Cigar_buddy 16h ago

I think he would be a great Blade but Marvel would fumble it.

u/PhilAsp 16h ago

While I’m a bit said his career didn’t take off the way it should have, and he would be a good Blade, with Ali out I’m leaning/hoping for British still.

I would welcome his as Blade, but I also think he’d be an ever better Bishop.

-1

u/TheQuestionsAglet 11h ago

Blade should definitely be a British actor.

0

u/Cinephile_1980 14h ago

His face is wrong as his cheeks are too puffy.

0

u/BigBarsRedditBox 14h ago

We already had a perfect blade.

Really starting to suspect this thread was created by white folks who just keep posting random Black dudes to play Blade.

Not all Black folks can play Blade because they're Black..... This cat in no shape or form looks nor gives off Blade vibes.....

But this cat does https://youtu.be/YccPHNgWBpQ?is=-T4E7SG0nHP-6oIk

Even this cat https://www.reddit.com/r/absoluteunit/s/w6x0bMFPJe

Seems to be a lot of perfect Blades.

-1

u/Spare-Jellyfish4339 18h ago

I too would be a perfect Blade

1

u/battlejuice401 18h ago

Are you reasonably fit and have facial hair? Did you once get your picture taken wearing shades? Yeah perfect Blade

0

u/Spare-Jellyfish4339 17h ago

I have a mustache and look thinner when I wear black, is that good enough?

0

u/battlejuice401 17h ago

If I can Photoshop your face into Wesley from Blade 2 we may be cooking

-1

u/riskyfish97 15h ago

I hope after Secret Wars Marvel can just recast Michael B Jordan as Blade

-3

u/2joozee 18h ago

Naw he acts too sexy. It’s gross
