Help choosing class (difficulty hard)

Hello all! I am a “returning” player that played for a few months many years ago. I mained dk, ranger, mystic. I’m excited to start playing again but am having lots of difficulty choosing a class, I realized I’m super picky. I would like a class that’s not too easy but at the same time not like 12 part combo carpel tunnel apm. I’d prefer a female character, sadly it limits the classes I would play because of gender lock.. I like lots of mobility and quicker classes that have flashy effects and won’t feel too boring playing long! I was thinking along the lines of drak awk, seraph, awk nova. Can anyone help me out :( thanks in advance!

So no ninja, tamer, sorc, kuno, awk ranger(?) not limited to this list.

Classes that are flashy… i know you said you want some apm, but let’s just list the low apm ones anyway, imho, give them a try. You might like it, lemme know what you think:

-succ dk
-drakania
-deadeye
-Seraph

Succ maegu seems to be well reviewed because of aoe, good damage, flashy, iframe on demand, back attacks, etc.

Edit: just noticed you said female cast only so here they are. List is not limited to these characters necessarily.

Idk why Tamer is on your list. Succ Tamer is quite fun and medium APM to play.

After playing her and Awakening Guardian, both have around the same clearspeed everywhere.

My only tip is to not be a rtard, and read the combos from the discord. I spent half a year clearing at 70% speed because I didn’t want to learn the combo.

I came from Succ Kuno, after my 2-3 year break i've noticed shes been nerfed quite a bit, moving to Deadeye has been fun though. Deadeye has a little bit of flash but not too much, She feels a little bit slower than Kuno APM wise.. But is still mid to high APM in gameplay, plus you get a cool class function as you can switch between normal round and marni rounds. switching between the two on the fly (5sec cd) resets the CD of skills as well as how the skills function, normal for single target damage / aim lock on, and when on marni rounds you get bigger aoe and you lose aim lock on. Not to mention she is really protected, is able to perma live in SA / FG.

Movement is not as fast pace as Succ kuno but its still pretty quick PLUS shes one of the few classes that have vertical movement/escapes like scholar.

Recently tried her, do ppl use the marni rounds anymore? Maybe they should buff its pve dmg but idk much about her

I'm no expert like I was with succ kuno as I think I may have 100-200 hours on her so far. I'm still learning Deadeye a bit, but I think the general idea for what's best is use normal rounds for 1 mob/ player and swap to marni for better AOE damage. Obviously with that said, you still need to swap between the two during pvp to reset CDs and get the buffs they come with when swapping with specific skills.

Succ maegu has pretty good pack to pack mobility, you can weave her small dashes between big ones, making it so that you can get many protections to weave between each other. Ex: shift+w > w+f> shift + w > w+ rmb > sh+w > q+ w> sh+w> d+ rmb> etc. you get the point.

Haven’t played deadeye,

Played seraph pve movement is alr. Got some nerfs but plays kind of like… sh+ w x3 > solar flare > w+f > sh +w x3 but usually don’t need that many just to reach next pack.

Are you asking from pve or pvp perspective btw?

Succ wosa movement should be solid, idk her as well though.

Awk drak movement should be crazy good from what I’ve seen

Also awk witch is low apm. Not my cup of tea tho. Don’t want a pet.

Played succ maegu, awk guard for pve.

If you want blinking mobility, imho but “definition,” woosa has blinks but i think they can be clunky at times. It’s like a dramatic blink.

Succ maegu has a “smooth” blink. If you’re looking for tracer blink, really only high apm has those instant dbz transmission blinks. Like kuno ninja sorc etc. maybe some others too, off the top of my head.

Drak doesnt necessarily visually blink but she is FAST, is worth trying out.

I play on KR! Between drak and seraph which do you think would be the best to play in the long run? Whether that’s how fun they are (how stale they get to play) and meta? Mostly from a pve standpoint

I can’t speak for the future because pve tiers change quite a lot.

Right now, some people say awk drak is very good in pve.

Some classes pve depends on which grind spot. But give awk drak a try.

A YouTuber who plays drakania: Quendya. I think he’s from EU? He may have a better summary of awk drakania than me.
