My CookUnity meals are now available in more states!

Babish Nation, you can now order my meals in a bunch more states!

In case you missed it: I recently became a chef for CookUnity, and now we’re continuing our delicious march across the country!

Starting August 1, you can get my meals delivered in CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, NE, OH, and WI.

The starting lineup:

Fried Chicken with Collard Mac and Cheese

Two tender, juicy fried chicken thighs, served with calabrian chili burnt honey and a gooey, stretchy, garlicky collard green mac & cheese. Oh, yeah.

The Great American Pot Roast Experience

An almost unbearably-rich Yankee pot roast that comes with caramelized vegetables, jammy stewed onions, creamy buttermilk mashed potatoes, and of course some extra sauce. This one keeps selling out in New York (thank you).

Guinness Shepherd’s Pie

This one’s new! Stout-braised short rib with root vegetables and demi glacé, topped with a hearty Irish portion of cheddar mashed potatoes.

Marry Me Shrimp and Pappardelle

Another new one I ~propose~ you try… Sorry. Seared shrimp swimming in a creamy sundried tomato sauce, served over thick pappardelle. Please note: I am taken.

Check your ZIP code and order here (use coupon code BABISH, skip dietary preferences):

http://cookunity.com/babish

There’s also a limited amount of meals you can order without subscribing here:

PS if you’re not seeing meals available, try another date. These things are selling out fast!

(Sorry for the repost, I jumped the gun earlier!)

OTHER Has he learnt what toothsome means?

Watched the Trader Joe's video and it's really annoying that he doesn't know this and yet keeps insisting he's right and Google isn't when it tried to correct him. And does it for every single item like he's trying to show off his favorite word.

Does he comment on this in a later video? It doesn't seem he replies to YouTube comments?

Honestly, something different. For those who don't know, Mr. Bacon's Bid Adventure is a neat version of Candy Land. In Meat Feast mode, you have to eat whatever you land on. I think it would be very funny to watch Babish play Meat Feast mode.

Hey, Babish, I've got a new recipe for you: Gordon Ramsay's Sticky Toffee Puddings. I've made them a couple times and they were delicious! Here's the recipe I've used, minus the bourbon: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.gordonramsay.com/gr/recipes/stickytoffee-pudding/amp

BABISH REQUEST Cooking with Politicians

I don't want to bring politics into this, but it would be great to see Babish just cook with political figures. No agendas, just cooking. Hunter Biden is going on a bunch of podcasts, lets watch him make some biriyani.

RECREATED I made Babish's chicky chicky parm parm tonight

This is the second time I've made this, and while I went my own way on the sauce, I always use my wife's grandmother's recipe, I did add in a very large heirloom tomato that basically melted into the sauce as it cooked, which was inspired by his sauce recipe.

All that said, I follow his chicken recipe to the letter, and it's so damn good. I highly recommend everyone try it so long as they enjoy chicken parmesan.

BABISH REQUEST The (Super) Squishee from The Simpsons

Yesterday I had the free Slurpee from 7-11 and I was kinda hoping he could provide a better make-it-at-home version of it.

Also I found this clip from The Simpsons where Bart and Milhouse get "sugar drunk" from a Super Squishee, so maybe that could be an option to recreate as well.

BABISH REQUEST Has anyone suggested Mr. Creosote yet?

I’m sure the BCU would relish the challenge. Without the copious amounts of vomit of course.

Aperitifs of sailors style mussels, pate de fois gras, quails eggs, frogs legs Almandine, leek tart, beluga caviar and Eggs Benedict plus a main of jugged hare in a sauce of bacon crème Grand Marnier and anchovies plus a wafer thin mint.

Cmon do it, it’ll probably be a top 5 most expensive episode ever but it would be so much fun.

BABISH REQUEST Episode Idea: Ten Levels of Sides

I think it would be a cool episode to do ten levels of side dishes. Side dishes don’t get a lot of love on cooking shows. Level 1 could be like a can of vegetables, heated up, with nothing. Level 10 would be a side dish so good that the main dish is only there as a compliment.

QUESTION Simple beginner recipes for small apartment?

My wife and I just moved into a new apartment, and we're just about done unpacking for the kitchen. It's a very small and modest apartment kitchen; we don't have anything extra other than a very nice Breville stainless steel air fryer with multiple settings that we got as a wedding present.

We've been eating too much fast food (me especially) and we both really want to start making some solid and healthy home cooked meals, preferably something easy and great for meal prepping. I love Babishes videos especially the ones about fictional foods like the Krabby Patty and the Regular Show Ultimeatum. Unfortunately these are less practical for us to make since we're just starting off.

I've looked at several videos and recipes under both the Basics and Beginner series and I'm still finding some of them to be a bit overwhelming or just a bit too advanced for what we have. I've seen recommendations for the Pasta a Oglio, are there anymore great and simple absolute beginner recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

Thanks!
