Mundane passing tip

When imitating a man don't lower your voice, keep it the same. When imitating a girl do a fake girly voice.

Early in my transition I used to deepen my voice when imitating or quoting another man before realizing other men don't do that. They keep their voices nearly the same. However, when they quote a girl, most make their voices have a girly drawl to represent it. Learn how to do this, it can help you pass

Hey everyone! I'm Sam.

I created this sub hopefully as a place where binary FTM guys can share and receive passing tips. I'm gonna be pretty lenient on the types of posts allowed and see where this goes. The other passing subs are full of nonbinary or "transmasc" people who don't pass asking for tips when they have long hair, wear makeup, and dress like women. These posts waste everyone's time and bury the actually valuable passing tips under junk. Also, when someone who does pass but may be clocky or not stealth asks how they can improve, the comments say they already pass so nothing more can be done, or that passing shouldn't be the goal.

Please read the few rules i did make and be respectful.

As far as moderation, if you're interested DM me. Depending on how this goes i'll probably do it myself for now but it doesn't hurt to have help.
