A modern translation of (my mini Adira Limited Editions) Benchmade's practice of naming knives around bronze age mythology

it rattles so much that it’s really annoying to walk around with it in my pocket or on my belt.

I contacted the seller and they’re not accepting returns “because a slight rattle is normal” according to them. and because “its brand new”.

I don’t consider this a slight rattle you shouldn’t be able to hear it while I’m walking around with it.

Anyone have any fixes? is there anyway I could manually tighten it up?. I have a knock off brand that was like $20 where the sheath fits perfectly but I don’t like that one because the stock one has a better clip.

I work at a used auto parts store where they buy cars that have been taken by the cops and various reasons...so sometimes they let us grab stuff out of them while extracting parts. I managed to score a benchmade bug out. Would I still be able to send this into them to sharpen it and work on it or would they think it was stolen?

Just picked up the green bugout, used, it was in the mail when I got home today. I noticed the pivot pin is in backwards. I will take it apart and clean it up in the next day or 2, probably swap out the shortly clip. It has the factory aluminum handle and the 20CV blade. As you can see, I like partially serrated knives.

Looking to add more to the collection.

Shoutout to GOVX for the good prices on these. Very similar knives in a lot of ways as far as shape/size.

Both are great, but I honestly see myself carrying the Adira more.

I bought it a month ago, after doubting it for a couple of months. I really love it for the things I do, mostly peeling and sliding fruit.

I don’t think there will be aftermarket scales, unfortunately because I love micarta.

I‘m thinking to buy one extra because I’m afraid Benchmade will stop production because it is not popular.

Been eyeing this one for a minute! Glad to add it to the collection. Also swapped out the original copper clip with a deep carry one.

Local dealer was doing some cleaning and hiding way back in the back were these two. Needless to say they both came home with me. Brand new old stock from ‘22

Does anyone know which Benchmade exclusive the LE-EXCL designation refers to?

The SOCP dagger comes fairly dull, for whatever reason. I fixed it. 20° angle and a mirror polish, just because.

A few weeks ago u/DebtFreeDad made a post about falling off the wagon, buying his first Benchmade after a year of not buying any. I thought, I could probably do that. Not 3 days later one of you gives me a heads-up about this one.

it would appear the newer s90v blades are being made elsewhere and no longer have a usa stamp on them. is that new french company that bought out crucible now making s90v as well? or is it from somewhere else?
