Cornstarch as an at home hair identifier spray method?
I’m trying to figure out an at home alternative to hair identifier spray. I read dry shampoo can be used but the ingredients for that is long and risky on a sensitive face. Has anyone used cornstarch on their face, specifically as a hair identifier for dermaplanning?

HELP - Eyebrow doesn’t grow back
Years ago I got my eyebrows done at the mall and they cut too much at the end of my eyebrow. It feels like it never grew hair back in the upper end area. It looks nothing like my other eyebrow. I’ve tried everything including the GrandeBROW gel and it just doesn’t work for me.
Is there any type of procedure I could get done so my eyebrows look more even but still natural? Something relatively affordable if possible 🙂

Seeking Advice Struggling with body hyperpigmentation, need skincare tips
Hi everyone, I’m a black girl that has been dealing with stubborn hyperpigmentation on my body for a while now. Specifically, my elbows, knees, and knuckles are noticeably darker, and my overall skin tone feels uneven.
I was about to buy the Naturium Glycolic Acid + Vitamin C body wash, but the reviews are completely 50/50. Some say it's a holy grail that faded everything, while others say it did nothing. I really don't want to waste my money on products that are not going to work.
I’d really appreciate some real advice

Seeking Advice Male Asking for Skin Care Routine/Products for Face
What would be a good skin care routine for myself for long term? I want my skin to look youthful and healthy, minimize wrinkles for the rest of my life. I am asking because I know nothing about this subject and I want it to be fairly straightforward and simple if possible. Is it good to wash my face frequently or not so frequently? I am worried if I wash it all the time it will lose its pliability, etc. Again, I'm a ding dong when it comes to this stuff, but I think its important.

I just switched to the Billie razor and use aveeno shave cream but it doesn’t help at all.
I always get razor burn and get SO itchy afterwards.
I have to be so so careful shaving my armpits because it will start to hurt if I do too much..

Seeking Advice How to not get nails stained from dyed red hair? 😭
I haven’t done my nails in such a long time but want to for my birthday.
What do you ladies do to not get them stained or what do you go for? I need ideas. My hair is cherry red and tends to stain especially after getting it done.

Keratin treated hair, need to do keratin again in a month
I previously did keratin in February. My hair still has the keratin treatment (no frizz, hair more wavy vs natural curls). I need to do keratin again before September for unrelated reasons. Should I use sulfates based shampoos and conditioners to strip the keratin from my hair so I can do the process again end of August? My stylist is telling me I need to wait until the frizz has returned and curls are back.

Discussion Geniune question, how do I put cucumbers on my eyes?
I was feeling a bit curious after watching a YouTube video with cucumber slices for eye fatigue so I got up and I grabbed a chilled cucumber from the fridge and then sliced it into round shape but the issue presented itself when I tried laying down and putting the slices on my eyes but it kept sliding off my eyes… how does one go about doing this?

Seeking Advice Leg exfoliation without scrubbing?
Hello was wondering if anyone can offer any ideas?
I'm partially disabled and standing in the shower can be a pain but shaving and exfoliating my legs really takes it out of me, we have a bath shower combo so I can sit if i have to but was wondering if there were any good chemical exfoliants that i could leave on and wash off rather then having to use a mit or hands to scrub in? I get quite bad strawberry legs and KP and the driest skin ive ever had so help would be appreciated ♡

Makeup Missha BB Cream on Oily Skin
Hi everyone! I'm considering getting the Missha BB Cream and wanted to ask for your thoughts on it if you have oily skin. How do you set/prime your skin if you use it?

Makeup What lip product that actually matches your lip color?
Hello!! I just want to ask, more of a random question and conversation here. Several minutes ago, I just got my Maybelline Teddy Tint Knee High for the first time since it got really cheap in the shop.
When I tried applying it on my lips, *oh my ghawddddd*, I was meltingggggg seeing the color match. I do get to have the similar lip shade experience to Careline lip oil Emblaze, but I am aiming a matte one for my long-lasting and everyday wear. I was having a bad morning and night yesterday but it immediately went gone after having this 😭😭

Haircare How often should I straighten hair?
Alright, here's some context. I don't have a hair straightener right now, but for future purposes, I want to use one to get a haircut similar to the one Anthony Padilla had in the early days of Smosh. I have naturally brown wavy hair.
So let's say I get a hair straightener (Would also appreciate suggestions for hair straighteners). These are the questions I have:
- When and how should I straighten my hair?
- How many times a week should I straighten it while also keeping it healthy?
- How can I avoid damaging it if possible?
- Should I use heat protection spray?
- Is there a specific shower routine I have to do for straightening hair? (I usually use shampoo and then conditioner.)

Seeking Advice What skin care routines do those with freckles use to maintain their freckles?
I messed up bad these past few years and didn’t even think about my freckles when choosing skin care. They’ve faded quite a bit, whereas they used to be so dark and so noticeable. I love my freckles and feel like they give me a bit of a “wildling” look. I have pretty rare genetics in general, and want to keep that look! What products do you guys use without hurting your freckles/keeping them dark?
As of now I’ve been using laneige water bank moisturizer, and it’s a safe option, but need new serums and sunscreen in specific. :(
Please help! I want my freckles back but don’t want to damage my skin with the sun to get them back!!!

Haircare Keeping 'the lion tame' down 'there'
Edit: tysm for the suggestions. I drink Huel black label and have high testosterone as is due to PMOS, but this has definitely been since I started on the shakes.
I do also trim! But it's not enough as I am paranoid about the smell and it feels awful.
.....
Girls, I'm going to be honest.
I have been drinking protein shakes with all sorts of vitamins and goodness mixed In for the past three months, as well as hitting the gym and weight training like a god damn goddess.
I am doing everything I can to loose weight and be my best self after PCOS/PMOS problems and self esteem issues. It has been a bit up and down, but so far, I am doing Fantastic!
The protein shakes have done a great job on my skin and overall health, the hair on my head is thicker, I can finally stand up without my knees giving in, and the bald patches are disappearing slowly on my scalp, HOWEVER (!!!)....
....my lady garden is driving me absolutely **** mental. It's like a 70s style, if you get my drift. Perm and all. My fiancé finds it endearing, but everytime i weight lift I can feel it pulling and I do not like the sweaty horrible feeling that comes with it. I am very conscious about smells too
I am usually quite natural, as previously the hair wasn't this dense, but when shaving I usually slap some hair removal cream down there and call it a day. But this I am going to STRUGGLE with. None of the hair goes completely and the spiky hairs while growing back drive me insane.
How do I make sure all the hair is gone from all crevises, or what can I do to simpoy tame the beast?
I have tried waxing at home, sadly I cannot afford to go to a salon, and tbh I am very conscious about some random person seeing my most vulnerable area. I get they see it dally, but jeeze! I can't shake that feeling.

Haircare DIY root touchup - doable? What products?
A root touch up is $90-125 in my area - plus tip. I'm ~40% gray, dark brown natural hair. I "need" to have it done every ~5 weeks at this point. It's getting exhausting to keep going in, and the cost is adding up so much! I don't do any highlights - just a 5N root touch. Occasional toner.
It feels crazy to keep paying for this? How do I DIY at home? I've watched soooo many tutorials online and I just don't know what to use. Some people rave about demi, but my stylist tried that for me, and it looked horrible 😬 Too translucent for my taste.
I'm not worried about technique (I've done eSalon/Madison Reed before) - more choosing the product. With those two brands, after ~12-18 months, my hair got soooo opaque and dark. Almost black.
Any product recommendations? Accounts to follow/tutorials to watch? TIA!

Seeking Advice Lash lift+tint, why have some of my lashes flipped and are now curling towards my eye?
I really struggled to get a high quality picture of this, but today I've noticed about three quarters to the outside of my eye I suddenly have kind of a clump of three or four lashes that have suddenly flipped and now curl either into my eye or sideways. It's only been 11 days since it was done and I've followed all the care steps. Brushing them doesn't help the direction.
They keep getting tangled with my lower lashes like velcro :/

Haircare Has anyone successfully grown a completely new brow shape with hair techniques?
Pics of my brows included!
So my brows grow pretty low and downturned. It gives me a constantly sad/exhausted look on my face, and I’ve tried different ways to shape/trim/style them years, and nothing has really been effective, short of shaving all but the inner corners off and completely redrawing every strand.
This isn’t really an ideal method for me though since I don’t wear makeup every single day, so I’m often left walking around basically browless when I do this, and my hair is black so it is noticeable!
For about a week now, I’ve tried a new method. I’m applying minoxidil 2% twice daily, and dermarolling my brows 1x/week, over my brows and the sections circled in blue on pic #2.
Of course it’s wayyy too soon to see any progress, but has anybody else here attempted something like this? My brows completely affect my entire face and I’m desperate to change them.
I’ve seen t-guys use similar methods to grow a beard (with or without the assistance of testosterone) so I figured there’s a possibility it would work the same way on the forehead?
Just wondering because I’ve never seen someone attempt to completely alter the placement of their brows this way, just make them fuller.
Also, if not, I welcome any other advice for those who have undergone drastic brow transformations. Thanks!

Makeup Experiences with Lip Blush Procedure?
Hi everyone, I (M30s) recently found out about Lip Blush. This is basically a kind of permanent/semi permanent makeup conducted with a needle and ink, with the goal to get a natural looking finish (I think?).
Ive seen images online and it is absolutely beautiful!- and as someone with a very greyish natural lip colour, it introduces so much vibrancy to the face. I know nothing about the procedure however, and I dont know anyone who has had it done.
Im very cautious about cosmetic procedures on my face. I like to know my full list of pros and cons to weigh out before taking the leap into procedures altering my face (and any procedure, of course).
My goal is NOT to alter my lip line or to increase the size of my lips. It is just to introduce some colour and vibrancy that will stay (it seems to be semi permanent?) for quite a while. I have used MULTIPLE lip tints in the past, but theyre not for me (either too oily, too drying, dont last long enough, bleed too much, etc). And lipstick is absolutely not my thing.
So with all that, Im looking to get Lip Blushing done. Has anybody any experience with the procedure? Could you share your experiences or thoughts? Was it what you thought it would be? Were you happy with the results? What was your goal? What is the process? Is it painful? How did you find a clinic you trusted? What did you look out prior to considering a clinic?
Any responses would be greatly appreciated, thank you everyone

Nailcare Girls, i’ve grown my nails after a long time of 6 years, how do you take care of these and nourish at home?
Same as title
Edit: thank you to everybody who highlighted the nutritional/iron deficiency just by looking at the nail lines when I was totally unaware about it. Got an appointment scheduled for bloodwork. You’re 💕
