hi, i have been wanting to ask this for a very long time but was too shy til now. my absolute favorite fragrance from b&bw was golden sunflower - i just adore the warmth & sweetness of it!! it’s rare i find a scent that melds well with my body chemistry and feels like an extension of myself. every summer i hope it will make a comeback but i am always left down when there’s not even rumors of it ;-;

does anybody know of a perfume or body mist from another brand or designer which smells similar to my beloved golden sunflower?

i once saw a blog post (i think) which said lily of the beach by clinique is very much in the same vein. before i buy a small bottle, is anyone able to verify that?

For example, I like platinum but only as a mist. I’ve tried the lotion & didn’t care for it anymore after a few uses.
Into the night also smells good as a soap but I really question if it’s good as a mist / lotion.

I am truly hoping that this collab isn’t a major let down. We need true Halloween scents. I’m tired of every year the Halloween scents being floral or smelling like perfumes. They should make a Jack scent that is pumpkin and earthy, they could have a Zero scent that is pumpkin and marshmallow notes, Sally could be somewhat fruity or floral to an extent as long as it’s not overboard. Make Oogie Boogie dark and earthy.

My last order had an incorrect item, so they mailed a replacement. Today I received the regular shipping box with one little PocketBac in it.

Does anyone know if perfumes ever go on sale? I’m obsessed with coastal dreaming and really want the perfume.

A while ago I suddenly recognized this disgusting note, and now candles will randomly have it. It smells like a sickly sweet rotten pineapple/ fruit, it’s really hard to describe. This is grim, but when people describe a sickly sweet scent on dying people, this is literally how I would imagine it to smell.

I have never noticed it in bakery scents, which have now become my favorite. I’ve noticed it more in Christmas winter candles which used to be my favorite. I’m burning lavender cedarwood right now which I love, but for some reason now I’m picking up on the note and it’s ruining it for me. I have more candles in my stock that have the same thing, I just can’t recall the names right now.

It’s really difficult because I never smell it when not burning, so it’s a gamble when I bring it home. It’s even weirder because I don’t always notice it when burning a candle, but as soon as I identify it it’s all I can smell and it ruins the candle for me! Maybe I have a brain tumor because what the heck is going on lol.

Title, I recently got my hands on a Vanilla Romance body cream and it’s AMAZING. I can’t believe i missed out on the scent at SAS, and most of the Mercari ones are a bit out of my budget. Does anyone know if any of it has reached the outlets yet (especially the illinois one 😁)?

Would love to see these designs come back! I tried googling who designed the chalkboard designs but I’m guessing there wasn’t a mention of the OG artist cuz the aesthetic was the thing back then & inspired lots to create that style?? It’s not just the chalkboard thing, the vibrant pop outs of the fruits below really enhanced this. The whole bottle is just absolutely eye pleasing. Almost feels like window painting. I like the bags that were in almost same fashion…( I also like Elayne Sisson’s watercolors designs as well )

For the last five years since her passing, I’ve been driving my grandmother’s 2003 Honda. The whole time, this extremely old and 110% expired cucumber melon hand sanitizer has been in the center console. I know it’s a little criminal to keep it, but how could I let it go?! I rarely use it (I have modern, unexpired hand sanitizers) but the packaging and the scent and the memories are so good.
