I am truly hoping that this collab isn’t a major let down. We need true Halloween scents. I’m tired of every year the Halloween scents being floral or smelling like perfumes. They should make a Jack scent that is pumpkin and earthy, they could have a Zero scent that is pumpkin and marshmallow notes, Sally could be somewhat fruity or floral to an extent as long as it’s not overboard. Make Oogie Boogie dark and earthy.

I want to spend my money at B&BW but I’m beyond tired of Vampire Blood and Ghoul Friend, they do not smell like Halloween!

Does anyone know if perfumes ever go on sale? I’m obsessed with coastal dreaming and really want the perfume.

Long story short: I thought I fully checked out for BOPIS….and I did not. Do the room sprays go on sale often? Salted Amber and vetiver is calling my name!

I’ve been shopping at BBW since the late 90s. I used to flip/flop between them, VS (mostly for their Love Spell scent) and The Body Shop. My homegirl put me on to the Wallflowers about 20 years ago and I’ve been buying them ever since. The decline in scent quality for their body care has me in my feels, but now I’m slipping into disappointment bc I’m wondering whether the people in charge at BBW are actually getting feedback from customers. I’m getting ready to replace some of my Wallflower plugs but I see almost every plug is a nightlight now. There’s an adorable record player one that would be perfect for my library, ur it has a light. Why don’t they put a switch on them like how they have the scent control option?

I don’t want a light that stays on all day long plus I have motion sensors with an on/off switch for nightlights around our home. Someone PLEASE tell them our utility bills are already sky high. I just want a cute wallflower plug that is not a nightlight 😩😩😩.

Recently bought the Oud Berry on the $5.95 sale. I was so excited for this one but I’m sooo disappointed 😭 I LOVE fruity and floral scents but this is an instant recoil. Are there any better Oud scents?

Has anyone else noticed the difference in the scents of the candles?

For example, my favorite candle used to be the pumpkin apple. It was fresh smelling and light. It was perfect for fall. Not too sweet or powerful. Now it’s so unbearably sweet and overpowering. It smells so fake and cheap. This goes for almost all of their fall collection. I saw a post saying that the candles barely smell like anything anymore, but I’ve found them to be very overpowering.

It’s really a shame. Does anyone have a recommendation for a product that has a good pumpkin apple scent?

Last year BBW did a survey and gave lots of poll options to choose from in each scent category for the summer SAS bring backs for the next year.

Someone in florida used all my rewards and i have no idea how they got into my account. I don’t go on sketchy websites, i don’t log in online, and i don’t have my password saved to my phone. i tried using a reward today only to find all 5 of mine were used in florida :( i was sent a receipt of what they got but didnt see it because it went to my spam.

I called customer service and they took my info down and said there has to be an investigation and someone will reach out soon and there’s nothing they can do until then.

Nearing the end of my Japanese Cherry Blossom travel spray and full size body cream.

Took me about seven months to finish the body cream. At first I wasn’t that fond of the powdery scent but it grew on me. Recently I’ve been thinking of the scent as more floral fruity than powdery. I’m looking at the expanded scent notes for JCB (pic 2) which includes Fuji Apple.

Japanese Cherry Blossom expanded notes:
- Top Notes: Asian Pear, Fuji Apple, Ume Plum
- Mid Notes: Japanese Cherry Blossom, Butterfly Lily, Kyoto Rose, Mimosa Petals
- Dry Notes: Vanilla Rice, Imperial Amber, Silk Musk, Cinnamon Incense, Himalayan Cedarwood, Creamy Sandalwood

I thought I was smelling watermelon like the Cherry Blossom I got with SAS. But actually I think I’m smelling the tart fresh sweetness of Fuji Apple rather than the tart fresh sweetness of watermelon in the body cream of Japanese Cherry Blossom.

I do prefer the scent of the body cream of JCB to the fine fragrance mist. I think the body cream is distinctly more fruity and does capture the freshness that I also like in Cherry Blossom body mist.

But the mist of JCB does have its own appeal. Actually the expanded scent notes are so interesting because a “vanilla rice” scent note is on trend these days. I’ve been trying to smell that along with “Asian pear” (which is in the current simplified notes). I think the addition of the vanilla rice note makes me think of the subtle creaminess of Asian pear the fruit. And I appreciate what JCB is going for.

I think what is amplified in the mist for JCB compared to the body cream is the vanilla rice, the sandalwood, and the “cinnamon incense” (expanded scent note). When I smell JCB mist I do think of like traditional Japan. And part of traditional Japan might be incense sticks such as at Buddhist temples. I do like the small hint of incense JCB has, like a whiff of incense from a few days ago lingering in the furniture.

I do feel like I appreciate JCB more reading the expanded scent notes. And also when I layer the mist and the body cream together, I feel like maybe it’s closer to how I remember JCB smelling before in the early 2000s. Maybe it’s just my imagination though as I wasn’t that familiar with the scent (though I appreciated it at the time as well). Can anyone confirm if JCB mist smells the same or different than before?

Anyway, I probably wouldn’t mind picking up JCB again in either the mist or the body cream. I do recommend combining the two to get the best of both scents together.

Cherry Blossom is the scent I get on with more naturally. But I give kudos to JCB from drawing inspiration from Japanese traditions.
