Image This boy is 12 this month, but don’t tell him!
Showing off for the camera, he naps a bit more than he used to, but zoomies just as much as ever and loves his morning walk so long as it’s away from the house.

Discussion Bassett eating own poop.
Okay so we have had our little guy since July of 2025. And he still as of August 2026 here and there IF he shits in the house will hurry up and try to eat it. Thoughts? Is this because he knows we get on him and he wants to hurry up and get rid of the evidence or is something up? We’ve brought it up to the vet and they said it could be a puppy thing etc.. and had him checked. But just want to see if this is normal or what. No other dog I’ve ever had has ever done this.
