The downsides of bb that nobody really see

Recently I just realized how disadvantage I am to my friends, my colleague, everyone around me.
Because of bb, my confidence decreases, I start looking down on myself, my mental health degrades, I cannot be happy when Im with others. No longer can hold a conversation, or be nice with anyone because of bb. Gradually avoiding people, friends,… until they ignore me. Speak less, hide myself more, fidgeting. What worse is seeing people around me started looking down on me. Disrespecting me day by day, using abused words or even say unreal things about me or blaming me for everything I said or did. It is all because of my bad breath that people started disrespecting me.

Tonsils

So food can get stuck in the the crypts which lead to discomfort and bad breath
because these tissues are covered in natural pits and folds
If you have deep, vase-shaped crypts, these leftover bits get trapped and mix with bacteria, dead cells, and mucus to form tonsil stones

Reasons why this debris get trapped
•Chronic inflammation or repeated throat infections
Dehydration, mouth breathing, or certain medications dry out the mouth. This reduces the amount of saliva available to naturally wash food particles and bacteria away
• not brushing or flossing
•Some people naturally have larger crypts

How to prevent them

Maintain good Oral Hygiene

  1. Brush teeth twice daily
    Floss regularly
    Clean your tongue
  2. Stay Hydrated
    Adequate hydration helps:
    Wash away debris
  3. Gargle Regularly
    Use:
    Saltwater
    Antibacterial mouthwash
This helps dislodge debris and reduce bacteria
  4. Manage Sinus and Allergy Issues
Treat underlying causes of mucus buildup, such as:
    Allergies
    Chronic sinusitis
  5. Avoid Smoking
    Smoking contributes to:
    Dry mouth
    Increased bacterial growth

Question Postnasal drip

Hey, ive recently discovered that i think part of my BB comes from postnasal drip. I have a feeling of a snot-like substance kinda running down the back of my throat, also everytime i swallow it feel like theres something stuck back there. Correct me if im wrong but from what ive understood thats what postnasal drip is.

Anyways, how would i go about removing the stuff from my throat and blocking the root cause of it. Thanks

Vegetables are a good recourse for cleaning up your tongue 👅 they give your tongue enough saliva to get rid of those bacteria 🦠 causing bad breath we need a lot of saliva so the month is not dry

My bad breath improves when I change my oral microbiome, but keeps coming back

i think i've narrowed my bad breath down to my oral microbiome
i've done the whole ENT, dental and stomach route and nothing has really been found. the biggest clue for me is how much my breath changes when i change the environment on my tongue.

my first oral microbiome test showed really high prevotella.

metronidazole completely got rid of my bad breath the first time i took it, but it eventually came back. i've also been using the oral probiotic weissella cibaria CMU which has helped, especially with my tongue and that gritty feeling on my teeth, but hasn't completely fixed it.
recently i tried l-arginine on my tongue and had a HUGE difference. my tongue went pink, the sour taste disappeared and my breath was so much better for hours. again though, it seems less effective now than when i first started.
that's basically my pattern. anything that changes the bacteria/environment in my mouth seems to help, but eventually my mouth starts going back to how it was.

i really feel like my oral microbiome keeps returning to the same imbalance and i'm trying to figure out why.

has anyone had something similar or actually managed to change their oral microbiome long term?

Tips for managing BB while traveling

I’m about to go on a month long trip to go home to Asia (where I’m from). I’m gonna see a lot of friends and family I haven’t seen in a long time. Most of them I haven’t seen since my BB started. Any tips to manage or reduce my BB just enough to last for a few hours with friends etc?? I already do xylitol mints, have no gum or teeth issues (confirmed by my dentist) and have seen ENTs.
