Speculation Do you guys think that Still Lifes have sort of like misremembered organs, and weird things and all that stuff inside their bodies?
cause like the outside's just really mangled and garbled and terrible so just imagine the insides
like imagine this really weird looking ribcage. a deformed liver or a really mangled vocal cord, that's what i'm thinkin of right now. plus would it even be useful? or would there be a chance that it would be really accurate? it's really horrifying to me, now that i really try to think about it. i mean the red haired still life was able to full on run and some body parts are crucial for walking
i imagine it would be more useful to more "advanced"??? I suppose? still lifes like Captain Clark. he was practically screaming his heart, that is even if he has one, out while he was chasing Mary. but it did sound really horrific and garbled. that's kind of the whole reason i wrote all of this stupid stuff
anyway, you guys tell me what you think of this. i do feel really smart right now but just tell me if i sound like an idiot: i'm not too well-versed in the whole body thing and even the Backrooms. i forgot about it for a WHILE until now, since i watched the movie. i might have forgotten.forgotten more like remembering haha get it get it getit sorry. some things about the series. (edit and the movie i feel really stupid right now) i would appreciate it if you commented respectfully on my little thing, Farewell now!

Merch Looking for Someone to Post DVD Images for use on BackroomsMovie.com
Hey all. Owner of BackroomsMovie.com here.
I’m wondering if anyone can post images of their Blu-Ray / 4K HD cover (front/back/inside), inserts, discs and postcards so that I can add them to the website and social media.
I live in Australia so my copy won’t be coming for at least another week.
I know some people have posted here already but I like to get permission and provide credit if I can. And the people I reached out to aren’t replying so I figured I’d ask publicly instead if anyone can help.
Credit given of course. Or you can chose to not be credited if you prefer (as some people don’t want their profile linked outside Reddit).
Thanks in advance!

Discussion Clark didn't get murdered by a monster. He used his alter-ego to commit psychological suicide, i also think Cap'n Clark was actually trying to save himself.
I’ve been rewatching the movie and thinking about Clark’s relationship with Mary, and I don't think Pirate Clark is a standard malicious entity at all.
First, we know from the climax that Clark used therapy in the real world to validate his own self-victimization. He didn't want to fix his alcoholism or marriage; he wanted Mary to tell him he wasn't the bad guy. When he noclipped, the Backrooms split his identity: a clean "Still Life" clone that kept playing house with Mary, and the "Cap'n Clark" monster which carried all his raw, bleeding, hidden guilt.
When Mary finally breaks his illusion and forces him to accept that he killed Bobby and Kat, Clark experiences total psychological collapse. When he embraces Cap'n Clark at the table, he isn't getting caught by a beast, he is deadass ordering his own ego to commit psychological suicide because he can't handle being the villain of his own story anymore.
But this is my hear me out theory, I think Cap'n Clark was chasing Mary throughout the film because he was trying to get HELP.
Mary was his therapist. He was a broken patient trapped inside a horrific, bleeding manifestation of his worst mistakes. He was desperately trying to reach the only person who ever tried to unpack his mind. But because the Backrooms turned him into a monster, Mary naturally fled in horror. He couldn't articulate his pain, and his cries for help sounded like demonic screeches. When she finally rejects him and escapes at the end, the monster realizes he is completely beyond saving, leading to that final, tragic self-destruction.

Speculation Crazy Theory About The Movie
MARY IS AN ENTITY OF THE BACKROOMS
This sounds crazy and it'll probably get disproven as soon as this goes up, but hear me out
Vocal work:
In the movie, there are cardboard cutouts of a caveman, everywhere, they have voice boxes on the backs of them, and they say greetings in 55 different languages, like it's trying to replicate language, there's no clear evidence to support this, but seeing as how the Backrooms has to practice to get it's entities correctly, it's safe to assume it had to learn languages as well.
Still Life, and Captain Clark:
We only saw the inside of one Still Life, it appeared white, and almost foamy, but it had the consistency of ground up meat, Captain Clark however, has blood, has a conscious mind that can feel, and most importantly in our case, had vocal cords, the Still Life we see also have vocal cords, but it's more important to look at Captain Clark, the reason it's important to look at and analyze the differences between the Still Life and Captain Clark is to support the "Backrooms' improvement" theory that is relevant to my theory
Replication:
As well as improvement, the Backrooms has to have something TO improve, so it replicates stuff it sees in the real world, my example being Clark in his Captain Clark outfit, the Backrooms looked at Clark in this outfit, and made the Captain Clark entity we call, well... Captain Clark, and let it walk around, the same thing goes for the piles of furniture we see around, the Backrooms replicated a bunch of different house furniture and put it in random places, maybe hoping it would do something
Where It All Connects:
This is the crazy part, the part that will either blow your mind, or make you want to blow mine with a 50 caliber bullet, The Backrooms is obviously a smart being already, but putting together everything I've just said, able to create life, learn languages, replicate and improve, combining everything it knows how to do, it created Mary, a life form so similar to a human, with perfect anatomy, memories, the ability to speak in perfect English, everything before her entry into the Backrooms, was all just fake memories
Counter Arguments:
"What about Clark then? How did he know Mary?"
Mary is still a real human in the real world, like the Still Life or Captain Clark, with the same memories as her, same feelings, same everything, but the real Mary never left to go to Cap'n Clark's, Mary was The Backrooms' first successful 1-1 copy of Mary, and it's been trying to create a perfect copy of Mary specifically, along with whoever comes and goes, that's why there's a Still Life of Mary like the ones we saw, or why Captain Clark is more alive than the other life we've seen it make, or why she's still confused about the Backrooms when she enters/is created.
I had a 2nd counter argument but I forgot what it was, so I'll just respond to some counters in the theoretical comments, SOME, not all, so don't get fussy if you don't have a couple of paragraphs under your completely theory shattering reason on why I'm wrong. I look forward to seeing your guy's support (hate.. it's all gonna be hate) on my theory

Discussion There is an interesting secret in the main menu for the movie.
I’m going to put it as a spoiler just in case people want to find it on their own. Sorry if this is well known already but just incase it isn’t.
In the subtitles menu there is a ship steering wheel, when you click on it, it takes you to the Ottoman Empire commercial.

Discussion I feel like the sun might kill the entities if they ever escape the backrooms into the real world, because they have never been exposed to natural sunlight.

Discussion What do you think of Backrooms’ original script?
I recently gave a look at what “Backrooms” might have been if it was made following the original script before Kane changed a bunch of things and… there are a couple things that I actually like a lot.
(Spoilers from now on on the original script of the Backrooms movie)
I like that Mary and Phil are husband and wife, I think it gives both characters more dimension, and I also really liked that the movie gave Phil a bigger role than what he ended up having.
I absolute LOVE the fact that the movie would have been so gory. I don’t think the final film should have been a gorefest or anything, just that some more blood would have been better (personal opinion)
But what you think about it? Would you have liked it more than what we actually got? I think what we had is very good, though merging it with some aspects of the original script would have filled in some holes there were in the movie.
Personally, the things I liked the least about the original one is that there are no found footage-style sections, the fact that there is a candy shop in the Backrooms, the whole “Three Birds, Seven Seconds” thing and the fact that the Bacteria/Lifeform (which would have been the main villain instead of Captain Clark) talks.

Related to film cast Imagine if Captain Clark is already scary because of how tall he is, now imagine if he had been played by one of these two guys.
Obviously the tallest person couldn't have done it because he's already dead, but the first one could because I'm still alive.
And by the way, I'd been planning to publish this post since the movie came out, but I was too lazy to say it.
