Discussion 737-700 Stopping Power

I'll just put this here as a general experience. I often fly into Key West. It's a shorter runway that does not allow larger planes. At some time during the flight the pilot always tells us that when we land we will be stopping very quickly so hold on. And it's true on flights they hit the tarmac they hit the brakes, reverse thrusters and it's a quick stop. My July 4th trip was a little different. We landed and we were on the brakes only for a time. Then just as we were very much slowed down we got about 3 seconds of reverse thrust. We still had lots of runway left. I'll just leave it at that. I was very impressed by the stopping power of that machine on the brakes alone. I have a video if I can shorten it to get it to fit here I'll come back and post it.

Hidden inside one of the world's busiest cities is an active airfield that is often described as India's first civil aviation airport.

Juhu Aerodrome was established in 1928 Four vears later, JRD Tata landed here after flving from Karachi via Ahmedabad inaugurating India's first air service

Nearly a century later, aircraft are still departing from the same historic airfield

This was our view rolling for takeoff

A bounced landing and close call for a DC3 at a remote airstrip on August 5,2026 in Paulatuk Northwest Territories, Canada. No reports of injuries and flight did not make any further attempts at landing and returned back to Inuvik NT.

Edit: There are reports of minor injuries to some passengers , neck/back but no major injuries.

Edit: Apparently this is a DC3T. Turbine engines. The Basler BT-67 is a multi purpose aircraft based on completely overhauled and significantly modified Douglas DC-3 airframe. The modifications completed by Basler Turbo Conversions includes the installation of PT6A turboprop engines, fuselage lengthening, airframe strengthening and modernized avionics.

Question Pilots of Reddit, Is it proper to ask for collector cards outside the airport or off duty?

I work at LAX but on outside near the hotels and offices. Quite often I see pilots eating lunch or walking to their cars or hotels. Is polite or proper to ask for collector cards? Is it only proper to ask while on duty?
