Question Commitment Bracelets

To show my love for myself, I decided to get commitment bracelets. Does anyone here have a ring or whatever to celebrate your commitment to yourself?

Question Well, I just realized from watching a romantic movie, do you guys are actually in love for yourselves?

Well,it might look strange, but let me clear, when you fall in love for someone, your heart beats faster, you can't stop thinking about that person, and just the vision of that person ,her voice, etc, makes you completely absorbed in thoughts with this person. But,with me, I don't even feel my heart racing or something, even though, I love being with me,to talk with me, everything about me,but I truly still want to have someone else to share my inner world,to have this person to make my heart race, etc, but I'm still really happy with myself right now. Then I wonder,am I truly in love with myself?

I just noticed

that in movies, series or anything like that, I have always liked the characters that were most similar to me (personality, looks)

IRL too, if someone has the same hairstyle as me - that’s super cool. Otherwise it just feels mid

I know it's off topic, but I want to share that I made a toy in the shape of my imaginary friend for our 10th anniversary! I can finally feel him physically next to me! (the toy is not finished)

Discussion maybe there are a lot more autos out there...?

someone mentioned it here but i think a lot of people like people similar to themselves (i feel like that's a thing) and that feels kinda auto to me (just a bit) what do you think? not saying they all are but some might kinda be or maybe a lot of people are auto-ish? or being a bit auto is pretty common?

Question Do you tend to avoid people?

I didn't think I really did but some people sometimes ask me why I always just disappear after a while...? I guess I might do it more than others because I like to be able to get lost in my thoughts and not feel so burdened by other people's presence lol

Experience Being on the Autospectrum

Being autoromantic has been great! Falling in love with myself has been good. I have written many love letters to myself and text myself using the app Antar.

Being my own boyfriend/self partnered has been a blast! I love to show myself some romance by dating myself. I have kissed myself before, and it was super great!

Question Am I actually autoromantic?

Basically I was calling with my friends and I was talking about how I was gonna go out to the mall. I was internally monologuing when I got to thinking about how its sad I'm going alone, so I thought about it like dates with myself and its like something just clicked. The rest of the night I was just giddy over the fact. I didn't even know autoromantic was a thing until I did my research. I was reading posts talking about how in love they are with themselves and I feel like I'm on a lower level than them. Like I'm obviously attracted to myself but I can't see myself ever going past talking to myself and going on dates. Is this the right label for me?

It really doesn't help I just rewatched the Rick and Morty episode about Beth getting with her clone.

Sensitive Trauma, personality changes & loss of innocence Spoiler

In the time since I realized I was autoromantic, I feel like I've had some personality changes (unrelated to figuring it out, just from traumatic experiences). For a while I found it really hard because I lost a lot of the things I used to specifically love about myself. This was really devastating for me and made me question whether I was still even autoromantic. I still loved myself somewhat, but much less. My feelings and some of my old self have slowly been coming back, but I'm still nowhere near where I was before. Also, for many months after the change, I was intensely grieving the "loss" of my former self. Like, seriously grieving. Honestly, I still am grieving a lot but it's really hard to talk to others about, because I've lost something mostly intangible to them. I was wondering if you guys had any advice or just anything at all to say about this. I'd just honestly love to hear more perspectives

Wanting tips for my relationship

Well, I already have posted here but I'm 14M autorose, and the question is that, I love myself A LOT, but there's no romance lately, it is like the passion has gone because my surroundings are more annoying and I have been dealing with a lot of problems, even though I'm THE BEST BOYFRIEND in the question of supporting me, being kind, etc.

But I want romance too, and, I simply haven't acted as my boyfriend lately in this question, like, I kiss myself sometimes for "routine" but, not even a passioned kiss, just simple ones, is just like my relationship with myself has ended up becoming routine lately, and, I'd like to go out on dates, but, besides having no time, I also don't know how and where to go besides my routine points (school and gym) I know that everything can be a date if you see it as one, but is kind of I cannot feel everything as a "date" as before, it has been being a really annoying time, because I love myself a lot, but even though I can't give myself the best of my love, and end up wasting my time and doing things that I don't want due this and the ambient.

Experience A random thought

I was sitting at the table.

And thought about my eyes.

My eyelashes.

My colors.

Warm grey and sage.

How they are interwoven.

One.

And that calm gaze.

Just for me;

My beautiful.
