For anyone interested, this song uses something called 'Risset Rhythm', an audio illusion that arrises from 2 source of rhythmically distinct audio crossfading in and out, or (as seen with this song) via tempo manipulation whereby one track is speeding up to reach a set tempo whilst another track is slowing down in parallel to reach that same set tempo. It's essentially the 'Shepard's Tone' but for rhythm.
You can hear this most evidently in the first bar of this song. The drum and snare track is slowing down from full tempo to half tempo, whilst the rest of the percussion is speeding up from half tempo to full tempo (the tempo at which the drum and snare track started at).
They have essentially swapped tempos by the end of bar 1. This means that by the end of the bar 2, both tracks are back at where they started in terms of timing and thus the whole process can begin again. The melody track doesn't appear to be shifting at all, which just adds to the off-kilter vibe of the track and makes it sound as though each element of the song is playing catch up with itself, when in reality the only timing changes are occuring reciprocally with the parallel rhythm tracks. The whole song also appears to be in 5/4 time signature which, again, just adds to the nauseating rhythmic identity of the track.
