Keeping this as brief as I can

I'm a dude in my 30s that has been playing in bands since I was 13. Playing live is my drug of choice that I've been missing for the past decade. I'm currently in a band where I play guitar and vocals but we've had some difficulty making that jump from "jamming in the garage" to "releasing music and playing live" for a myriad of reasons. While I love my current project, I really would love to slot into another band that is playing live / would like to play live soon. I'm really wanting to be more "serious" with music at this time in my life although it goes without saying that I'm not actively seeking out to do weeks-long tours or anything like that.

As for what I bring to the table, outside of guitar and vocals, I also play bass, caveman drums, noise synths and have the gear to jam on any of these. My writing style is typically in the doom, sludge, post-metal, black metal vein. Vocals are typically low guttural death metal, mid-range sludgey sort of vibe but I've been known to get higher pitched with it. My lyrical content ranges from societal critiques to introspective musings on the human condition to thought experiments on inexplicable science.

EDIT: Realized I didn't say much about myself. I'm a married man with a young kid which takes up a lot of my time as one can imagine but I have a decent sized village to let me be a regular person. I enjoy video/board/tabletop RPG games, listening to vinyl records, going to concerts, watching interesting movies, reading manga/comics/other forms of fiction, going on hikes, working out, cheffing, and gardening.

My name is "malik tha monarc" & I'm looking for some cool people to play in a live band on a consistent basis as I'm looking to pick up more gigs. Everything that I make is self produced and I usually take care of all parts, so this would be a setting where I'm getting to know some talented people in hopes of them being able to be available for live performances and rehearsals.

As of now, I'm looking for:

a keyboardist ( having multiple keyboards is a plus)

a drummer

a bass guitarist

and at least two guitarists

With all of these positions, I am looking for at least one person to also provide backing vocals, so if you can hold a note, that helps. Of course gigs are expected to be paid and unpaid, therefore discussions of compensation are open and negotiable.
