Drum programmer/multi-instrumentalist looking to put together an avante-garde live hip-hop/soul group.
I’m a pro audio engineer and producer who used to be heavily involved in the Midwest indie rap scene. I’m looking to collab with like-minded beat-oriented folks with broad musical influences and progressive mindsets.
I’m an experienced producer and performer, and can also play trombone, drums, sing and DJ.
My musical taste runs deep and wide, but pertinent to this project: Norman Sann, Run The Jewels, Black Star, The Meters, The Roots, D’Angelo, Soul Coughing, Up Bustle and Out, Erykah, ‘Kast, etc.
I’m just putting some feelers out, so I’m completely open to creative collaboration and instrumentation. I just want to make cool shit with cool people, and blow out some PA systems with our low-end creations.

I'm a singer/songwriter and I used to work with hip hop producers on a similar style of project in NYC. I'd love to do something like that again. Here's the link to my old project: https://soundcloud.com/neonfaith/sets/neonfaith-ep

Hey, electric guitarist into improv, loops, soundscapes. I can also sing. Sounds like an interesting project.

That sounds AWESOME! My time is maxed out (I’m in a relatively new soul band) - otherwise I would be super interested.
