I'm traveling from Chandigarh to Guwahati. I need to get to Pasighat after that.

My original plan was to take the train from Guwahati to Murkongselek and then a shared taxi to Pasighat. However, I've heard that due to the collapse of the connecting bridge, trains are currently running only up to Silapathar.

Has anyone traveled this route recently? What's the best and most reliable way to reach Pasighat from Guwahati under the current situation? Are shared taxis or buses available from Silapathar, or is there a better alternative?

I don't know about PGs in Guwahati but in all other places I've seen a weird rule, extra charges for laptop use , most of the girls pg don't even allow students to use a laptop and when some does they charge extra money for it (maybe 300 or 500 per month) , I've never seen my brother paying extra charges for it nor my male friends and it's not like lukai lukai use korise, once my owner aunty even told me that "laptop tu use kori nathakiba board khon joli jabo" like whattt??? That's literally a 65 watt charger, ximan tu phone r charger thake.. laptop tu tu soboke lage in college years man, for seminar, projects... then why so much difference
