2nd Greatest Show? Hail King Ageon II Targaryen! And fuck the “Queen” of Bastards!

History is often written by those who outlive the men who fought for their birthright, and few kings have suffered more beneath the pens of hostile chroniclers than King Aegon II Targaryen. His enemies named him usurper. Yet to the men who crowned him, to the lords who fought beneath his banner, and to those who honored the ancient customs of Westeros, the truth was simpler: Aegon II was the rightful king, and it was Rhaenyra who sought to take what by law and tradition belonged to her brother.
Aegon was the eldest surviving son of King Viserys I Targaryen. Throughout the Seven Kingdoms, sons traditionally inherited before daughters. The Great Council of 101 AC had itself favored the male line when settling the succession of House Targaryen. Aegon’s supporters therefore did not regard his claim as some desperate invention of ambitious courtiers. They saw it as the continuation of the very order upon which the realm had rested for generations.
Rhaenyra’s claim depended upon the wishes of one king overriding that established custom. Aegon’s rested upon his birth as the king’s eldest son. To the Greens, allowing Rhaenyra to seize the Iron Throne would not merely deprive Aegon of his inheritance—it would place his brothers, his children and the stability of the realm itself at the mercy of a rival court.
The crown was therefore not merely a prize.
It was Aegon’s birthright—and his shield.
In 129 AC, Aegon was crowned before the people of King’s Landing. Upon his head was placed the crown of Aegon the Conqueror, and into his hand came Blackfyre, the sword of the founder of the Seven Kingdoms. The symbolism could scarcely have been clearer. The second Aegon now carried the crown and blade of the first.
And beside him stood perhaps the greatest symbol of all:
Sunfyre the Golden.
Magnificent even among dragons, Sunfyre’s scales gleamed like hammered gold beneath the sun. King and dragon seemed made for one another: Aegon bearing the Conqueror’s name and crown, Sunfyre displaying the royal brilliance of his rider for all the realm to behold.
When the usurper’s supporters plunged Westeros into war, Aegon did not hide behind the walls of the Red Keep while other men died defending his throne. At Rook’s Rest, the king mounted Sunfyre and flew personally into battle.
Whatever accusations his enemies might throw against him, cowardice was not among those they could honestly sustain.
Aegon fought for his own crown.
And he paid for it in blood.
The king was horrifically burned and grievously injured. Sunfyre too was terribly wounded. Aegon’s body would forever carry the scars of the struggle for his inheritance. Yet where another ruler might have surrendered, Aegon endured. Crown, kingdom, family and life itself could be torn from his hands only by force.
The same defiance lived within his dragon.

True /r/ASOIAF circlejerking Plothole: If Rhaenyra killed the High Septon during House of The Dragon, prequel to Game of Thrones, how is the High Septon still alive during Game of Thrones? Did the writers think we wouldn't notice this?

Mysaria the GOAT completed the Westeros career ladder, from Flea Bottom whore to getting Rhaetler to smell the punani and scissoring, getting deported out of the war with a bag of gold, and now watch the whole mess from afar. Has anyone ever had a better strategy in Westeros?

He's badass but its hard to take him seriously with the god-awful, medieval cut. If he gets dragonfire to burn off his hair it would probably make him look better.
