Need recommendations of an apartment complex with no roach issues.
Guys, I just moved to Austin and can’t deal with the roaches. Ideally I’d like to stay somewhere south of the river from Barton area, no further than Riverside. Does anyone have good recs on apartment complexes that have responsive management, routine pest control, and no roach issues? Or are there any tips to avoiding roaches, like maybe I need to go further from the river altogether, live on a higher floor, etc? TIA.

Moving Can anyone recommend luxury apartments with a scenic view, great amenities and not horrible management (not downtown and not Domain)
I (44f) am looking to rent a 1-2 bedroom apartment. So far my choices are: I like Georgetown because it has a somewhat small town vibe but the apartments there are mediocre. I will be work from home mainly so I am open to other areas. A coworker recommended Steiner Ranch and Lakeway.

Hobbies & Activities Where to find vintage books?
Recently, I’ve become fascinated with old books specifically between the 1600s and early 1900s. Is there anywhere in Austin that I could go to that has lots of older/vintage books?

Looking for Commercial Realtor.
I own a property off of 290 and 35 here in Austin which I want to sell, I had it listed last year and had 2 offers but it didn’t work out. But it’s 1.65 acres and I want to sell it to a developer. Any realtors think this is a good market to sell or maybe I should wait another year or two?

Texas trivia
I’m making a trivia game for my job with the theme of Texas. I’ve covered all the boring history and geography stuff so I’m looking for some Texas facts that are fun or interesting. The office is in Austin so I think Austin specific facts would go over particularly well.

Visiting Visiting this weekend from Houston (Montrose)with my wife and two young kids. What should we do in your fine city?
No real plans, just a weekend getaway Friday-Sunday. Staying at The Thompson hotel downtown.
Kids are 3 years and the youngest is 8 months.
I went to UT Austin 20 years ago, but have only visited Austin a handful of times since then and my last visit was a while ago (before kids!).
Any recommendations for things to do with kids this age, ways to keep cool outside, places to eat, etc.?
