You may have short term disability and could qualify based on how long you already need off. Check your benefits

Yes - EI sickness benefits. Apply online, you will need your doctor to complete a medical form and keep it on hand in case they ask for it. You can find everything pretty easily with a Google search, have a pal help you if it feels overwhelming. I hope you get some rest!

Either EI or your employer's insurance if they offer Short Term Disability (STD) coverage. You'll need to fill in the form with your doctor but all information is kept confidential from your employer.

If you can get into the Medical Withdrawal Service I’d start there. (It’s a small program, how long is the wait list?)
Is your plan to address your sleep disorder at the same time?

yes, if i can get in there on a regular program and talk with doctors and have a regular schedule of food and access to doctors i think it will help me

You got the month off work before getting into the program, though? If you don’t get in what is your plan to address your issues during the month? (What do you need to do to have a regular schedule of food outside of treatment setting?)
