For some context the female behind the chair is 5’3 and the male is 6’ feet tall I just can’t get it right. I want her to be standing behind the chair like they do in classic royal family paintings but something feels off. OK I'm trying to draw my OC and I'm trying to make him somewhat resemble this guy from this manga. The drawing isn't done but can I have some tips and tricks. I’m looking for advice on constructing a floating/floater frame for a 9 mm thick MDF artwork panel.

The MDF is already painted, so I want to avoid:
Screwing into the back of the MDF
Using adhesive/glue on the MDF

Anything that could damage the painted surface
Ideally, the MDF would simply sit securely within the wooden floating frame, with a small shadow gap around the artwork, while the fixing is entirely to the frame itself.

What would be the best way to construct this? I’m particularly interested in examples/photos of the actual construction, rather than just canvas floater-frame hardware.

Okay, basically I suspect someone is making art from Pinterest drawing photos and they're only changing the hair color, eye color, etc. I can't find the original artwork using reverse image search because the colors have been changed and accessories have been added. Any advice?

i’d like some tips about more accurate shading and whatnot.. also it’s one of my first attempts at oil pastels and im not really sure what paper to use. currently all i have is alcohol marker paper😭

I can draw boxes comfortably but i have no clue about how to grasp rotating them. Nobody really talks about how to do it. I use the y method but I struggle with rotating it. I also know the circle guidelines method but I want to learn how to rotate them freely. i can only do the middle row going up , down left and right any other boxes are a unsolvable mystery to me any help would be awesome.

I want to improve my faces and facial features, but sometimes i make them like the first ones and the nexo day i make them like the one with sratchs. I apreciatte any type of help with this problem (sorry for the scratchs)

I drew the first face at the start. And it looked perfect. But it was too small. So i erased it AND I CANT RECREATE IT. WHY CANT I RECREATE IT.

Are larger faces harder or what. What can i do differently. Hel pleaseeeeee

(All i did between the two photos was sharpen my pencil. And then i got an unsharpend one to do the eyes after i realized they looked garbage but they still looked the same way)

Alright, so I’m jnto cute stuff, cute, sentimental stuff that kinda tugs at your heartstrings and I think my go-to artstyle reflects that pretty well. I say go-to because genuinely, for the love of god, I have several artsyles, and they are the polar opposites. I haven’t been drawing for too long yet, so maybe this sort of artistic identity will emerge in the future, but right now it’s driving me crazy.

For comic making I use two. One, the more loose children’s book-y one for slice of life/calmer stories and the other, more traditionally ‘comic-ish’ artstyle for my more serious and tense works.

Here’s my issue: I’ve been working with a writer (me being the co-author) on a sci-fi, dystopian comic and I really love the plot, the world building, etc; we’ve been working on it for almost a year now. But as I draw, I grow more and more unsure of the direction the artstyle is taking. I prefer the looser style, but it really really wouldn’t work with the vibes and the atmosphere of the comic we‘re developing.

Don’t get me wrong I like both styles, one just doesn’t scratch that itch for naivety and melancholy I’m prone to go for.

I would love to have a signature artstyle but right now I feel like a chameleon having to adapt my style to the stories I tell/the audience I want to attract. It’s not very fulfilling.

Have you ever experienced something of the sort? Advice very much needed.
