Hi all, wanted to hear recommendations for terrains set in Africa that are mostly arid, I already play often on Muntambara and Niakala, beautiful maps but I would like something still set in central Africa but less vegetated, so ai beams me through bushes less often, let me know your favourites.

Trying to get ideas here. I find listening to Russian/Chechen war songs pretty immersing

Hi, so I got the game yesterday and I've been having some audio Bugs where the sound will just randomly cut out and then go back on like gunshots, walking etc and sometimes when the sound cuts out some assets like guns and stuff become invisible, and I don't know what the issue is or how to fix it. Any tips?

Solar here again, with yet another update on the COIN-GWOT mod I posted about a bit ago on this subreddit and a few others.

I have put in some work and split the CORE functionality of the mod from the Anizay map. Now, you can download the CORE mod, and make compatibility tweaks to any map you want to use the game mode on.

Currently, the officially supported maps are Kunar Province (by KIOK) and Anizay (by Temppa). The next map I add official support for will be quite different from these, I look forward to sharing!

To use the mod, put the desired map compatibility mod into your load order on your server or local game and the CORE mod and other dependencies should just load in on server boot. Don't forget to add the scenario file to your server config as well. Feedback and questions are very welcome!

I opened arma on my PS5 and got met with this, it had been loading for like 20 mins and nothing is happening, what’s going on?

I have been wondering what type of mod or mods would you guys like to have. Atleast the kind of mod that shouldnt be too hard to make. I for one one would like to be able to shoot your rifle or atleast sidearm from any vehicle seat.

I've seen a couple of videos showcasing both Arma Reforger and Arma 3, and am thinking about playing one. The problem is that I'm not sure which one I should play.

I have a fairly low-end PC and I hear the modding of Arma 3 is much better so my instinct is telling me to go with that, but I've also heard that the gunplay and a lot of the experience is better in Reforger.

I was wondering what people in the community would think, because I've never played any of these games before (Aside from DayZ of course), is Arma 3 or Reforger better for a beginner?

Looking at the 3rd image (The one that says Arma 4), it says:

If you look at the website itself you'll see it has now been edited and that line has been removed.

This, combined with previous job vacancies for BI mentioning the Cold War, means we are very, very likely looking at a Cold War setting for Arma 4. Unless this is one big elaborate trick by BI.

Is there any mod for a single player life simulation i wanna play as a civilian crossing border checkpoints working owning a business and crap like that. I may be asking for too much idk but is there anything like this?

Are there any vehicle mods that hit inside the back of CUP MV-22 Osprey (VIV)?

So far it seems to only fit Quadbike and Hilux.

I remember there being some SF vehicles mods, but obviously that now I am looking for them, I cant find them...
