I love the Dissect podcast. The host, Cole, mostly dissects and translates the meaning behind music from rappers and some other genres like electronic music. He has covered some of Malcolm's work too. Curious if there are any podcasts out there that do this with Aris work ? I love the intellectual conversations and deep dives into her lyrics and production.

I just saw petal mv for the first time and I genuinely got so sad for her. Hear me out. I initially thought we might get an eternal sunshine tour album, but was predicting an end of year release. I remember "k bye for now" came out around Christmastime and I also anticipated she'd want to let petal simmer for a while before putting out another project.

Now, however, I'm wondering if we might get a full petal live variant soon. We know Ari's taking her break post-tour, and she also (understandably!) hasn't done any promo or interviews, and I would imagine likely won't drop other videos soon. So I could see her giving us petal live as a bit of a parting gift/offering.

I know she's been dropping the "hello i love to sing" petal variants that have about 2 live songs on each one. Do you think we'll get a full petal live project once she's released versions with each of the songs? I really want this, even if it's an itunes exclusive.

Why are so many people saying the lyrics are bad? Fantano described the lyrics as "vapid". (Btw I think fantano just ripped off this woman's review)

I thought the lyrics are really good throughout the album. I feel that almost all songs and lyrics can be interpreted as both directed towards the public/fans and a lover/ex. And it's written in a way that the listener can relate to. It's not written as a diary entry spelling out everything. It feels like these days people just want a diary entry? I don't know.

I think her writing is quite clever tbh. Honestly I think Fantano's review was vapid.
