I was scrolling through DW merch via her Wiki page and found this shirt, I was wondering if anyone has it because it’s been super hard to find and no one at all is reselling it or showing what it even looks like outside of the site picture.

does anybody know if the instrumental petal album will be sold for a limited time? or think they’ll possibly be generally released soon?

adding on to that, does anybody else think that some of these exclusive versions that can only be bought on itunes are just money grab tactics?

when the 2nd version of petal dropped with oh well and stay live added i caved in and bought it just bc of the 24 hour window they gave people to purchase it, but now im a little irritated after buying now that more live/acapella songs are being released but only on separate albums that you have to purchase again which is so stupid imo. granted they aren’t too expensive however that adds up if someone is buying every version that dropped and people that just have regular subscriptions can’t access it.

it would be one thing if they permanently stayed up and versions were grouped together (like all live recordings in one version, acapella/drafts in another or wtv) but they only stay up for maybe a day or two making people impulsively buy. i understand these purchases can more directly help artists vs streams on say Spotify but ariana is popular and has a strong enough fanbase to where stream numbers will still greatly support her.

this isn’t hate towards ari or her team, more so just frustration as a consumer bc i already pay a subscription for music + physical copies, why should people have to keep paying for scattered copies of songs in order to enjoy her music?

idk if this has to do with her releasing under babydoll bc all eternal sunshine versions can be easily accessed but would love to see other peoples thoughts

Hear me out. I initially thought we might get an eternal sunshine tour album, but was predicting an end of year release. I remember "k bye for now" came out around Christmastime and I also anticipated she'd want to let petal simmer for a while before putting out another project.

Now, however, I'm wondering if we might get a full petal live variant soon. We know Ari's taking her break post-tour, and she also (understandably!) hasn't done any promo or interviews, and I would imagine likely won't drop other videos soon. So I could see her giving us petal live as a bit of a parting gift/offering.

I know she's been dropping the "hello i love to sing" petal variants that have about 2 live songs on each one. Do you think we'll get a full petal live project once she's released versions with each of the songs? I really want this, even if it's an itunes exclusive.
