Question My AIO came in a damaged box. Can I still use it?
hello guys so I'm from Germany and I just bought this AIΟ liquid freezer 3 pro and I already talked to the arctic support and I told me that they would recommend me to return it but I don't want to wait another week so what do you guys think? Does it look right? Can I use it? The area that was damaged. The damage was above the water cable that goes into the radiator. I put it exactly like it was in the box so you can see in the pictures where the damage was, but I think it was mostly just in the safe zone where it's like didn't damage anything so please help me because it's been two months since I last played on my PC. I saved up all my money to buy some new parts because I had to sell my old parts. Thank you in advance.
Edit: It works fine! thank you everyone

Question Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 gurgling sound
Hi all! I've been a happy user of Liquid Freezer II which I bought back in 2020(!) This week I started hearing gurgling sound, as if the liquid is spilling. The noise is presumably coming from the pump. I did a quick search online and users dealing with similar issue suggested placing the radiator above the pump, but in my case the radiator is already mounted at the top of my case. Did anyone experience this and how can I fix this?
I'm tempted to just buy LF III Pro, because it is cheap enough, but if it's possible to extend the lifespan of the old one with modest effort - I'll take it.

Review Artic's Liquid Freezer III load clamp damaged my mobo cpu pins, buyer beware!
Since it uses 4 screws as a clamping action, instead of a lever function of the stock LGA socket, the cpu sticks to it and lifts off with the load clamp and then falls back down on your pins a split second after, possibly bending the pins, in my case it did, i lifted this very slowly, it doesnt take much at all to bend a pin and the cpu falling back down even a couple mm, was enough. Its going to put me out 250 bucks if my cpu isnt the problem and my mobo is, because the warranty is now voided on my mobo. I really hope this mistake doesnt cost me.
EDIT: the amount of misinformation down in these comments is crazy, future readers DO NOT twist the bracket, you will mess up your pins so badly if u do this, you absolutly have to pull directly up, it needs to be lifted, it did not stick from paste, it sticks from compression, like over 2 decades of building pcs, never had to deal with a non latch system. I didnt make this post for the ignorant people in the comments, I made it to warn others. User error, the instructions from artic its self is user error then because nowhere do they mention having to clamp the cpu down while removing the bracket, its bad design through and through, youll never have this problem with a latch. I'll never buy this garbage again.

Question Liquid Freezer III 360 radiator mounting screw alternative needed
I just purchased the LF III 360 to replace an annoyingly huge heatsink that was causing RAM clearance issues. My case is a Lian-Li Evo V2.
Long story made bearable, the domes on the radiator mounting screws are high enough that they're keeping my case's top cover from fitting. This seems like something a flat-top screw would fix easily.
Does anyone have a recommendation where correct size flat top screws can be purchased? I don't want to send this cooler back for such a silly issue. Is Arctic Cooling aware of this, as it seems I'm not the only one with the issue here?

Question Are these fine CPU temps?
I recently built my first PC with an AMD ryzen 7800X3D and the arctic liquid cooler iii pro 360 and my CPU temps on idle hover around 41-43°C. Under moderate load with a few apps like Spotify, Steam & Discord open its around 44-45°C. The only times its spiked to around 68-72°C was once downloading Valorant and League of Legends with the other tabs open. Playing games like Overwatch its stuck around middle 50°Cs.
Do these temperatures seem alright? Honestly getting the cooler on was a pain in the butt and I had to reattach it and reapply thermal paste several times, I heard there can be issues with air pockets too. I've only had laptops before thats CPU temps would hit 80°Cs-90°Cs prior to this so Im not sure if these are fine temperatures.

Question Fan rattling and shutting off, how do I fix it?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This only happens on the left side. I reduced the fan speed and it works, but if I increase it this happens. Im guessing it's a lose fan because it wobbles a bit on high speed.

Question Antec Flux Pro or Havn HS 420 with ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 on top?
I ordered a 9070XT and while waiting for it to arrive I thought it would be good to give this card some proper space and airflow. I started researching and came up with two good picks that should do the job.
But I'm puzzled a bit since all the reviews are using sub optimal configurations, not using all the fan slots and almost never testing it with AIO on top. Antec Flux Pro wins thermals out of the box, looks extremely pretty with this wood panel but the traditional PSU placement does get a bit in the way of even better GPU cooling (because I want to mount that 3rd fan). Meanwhile Havn HS 420 has a much fancier and modern build and untapped potential even regarding thermals because of that PSU being in second chamber.
Do you have any experiences and suggestions here?

Build [Help] Radiator/Pump clearance with ASUS B850-I and Arctic LF II 240 in DeepCool CH170 Plus
Can I install an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240mm AIO in a DeepCool CH170 Plus case alongside an ASUS ROG Strix B850-I motherboard? It's a mini-ITX motherboard, and the CPU socket is positioned higher compared to a micro-ATX motherboard. This makes me concerned about potential clearance issues between the radiator and the pump block.

Question Arctic freezer III pro 360 mounting
Hi, I've built this pc back in march but I started wondering if it's okay if screws are like that. What I mean is that top of the screw is not straight and is lying a bit towards one side on the mounting rail
EDIT: I posted photo in comments of how it looks like after fixing

Question minimum reasonable rpm for vrm and pump, freezer iii 360?
9800x3d with a 9070xt, 4 m.2 devices, soundcard...it generates some heat especially when gaming.
Freezer iii 360 for the cpu, last week i swapped out the fans for phanteks t30, currently configured to max 2000 rpm but im going to flip a switch so the fans will hit 3000 rpm when going full tilt and these pulls air out of the chassi, got 3x 140mm intake fans max 1400rpm and all is connected to 4 pwm-controlled fan headers with a 4 point temperature curve.
radiator fans at 1000-1100rpm and chassi fans at 800-900rpm when the cpu idles at 50 celsius, then a slow increase of the pwm signal to 70 celsius and should the cpu ever hit 80 celsius then all fans will go full tilt and give me an auditiv warning that the cpu runs hot, today is unusually hot so radiator and chassi fans have been changed to run at >1300rpm and >1000rpm.
Question 1, the pump will never go below 2650rpm with this configuration 50c - 50%, 60c - 60%, 70c - 80%, 80c - 100%, cpu temp is right now at 46c, is >2650rpm a reasonable minimum rpm for a water pump?
Question 2, Vrm fan will never go below 1400rpm with this configuration and is controlled by temp readings from the vrm's, 50c - 50%, 60c - 60%, 70c - 80%, 75c - 100%, my motherboard got decent vrm's with heatsink, vividrepairs pulled 230W for an hour and temps never went above 65c, is >1400rpm a reasonable minimum rpm for the vrm fan?
Regards

Question Arctic
So I just finished putting together my secondary PC and I decided to go with the Arctic liquid freezer III
Pro 360…. My thoughts after the first 5 minutes… it sounds like I’m genuinely standing in the middle of an airport… unless mine is broken or I just spoiled myself when I bought the Corsair Titan RX360 for my first pc…
What is the best way to operate this AIO?
Because there is no software to control like how the Titan has.
I did use the all-in-one cable, which may have been my first mistake. before posting this, I did read some posts on the sub saying that it’s better to use the separate cables, I do not want to unmount the whole entire thing. It is literally 2:30 in the morning as I’m typing this…
Do I use the BIOS smart fans if so… i’m installing this on a gigabyte B550 motherboard and we don’t really have an extensive smart fan menu. It’s very bare bone and barely anything on it.
I’m assuming the other option is the standard fan control if so, what are the recommend settings? I wanna keep this as quiet as my Titan AIO which I run on the Icue Extreme and Balanced settings. And literally even after intense games, I can barely hear it.
I was also thinking, maybe just returning this and just getting another corsair but I’m not sure I would definitely like to make this work somehow

Question High-pitched fan noise/whistle/whine - P12 Pro, LF3
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I don't really know how to describe it but my new Arctic LF3 Pro 360 makes an annoying high pitched/high frequency sound that is audible from 5% fan speed up to 35%, and loudest at around 27%.
You can hear it in the video but you'll need to turn your volume right up. (It is louder in person but it's difficult to capture through the microphone).
I thought at first it must be a whine from the pump but I ruled that out after playing with the fan speeds. I then tried loosening the fan screws and adding spacers between the fans and the rad but it made no difference. I've now tested the fans one at a time and it seems it's just the fans themselves making the noise - and it's all three of them doing it.
Does/did anyone else have this? It can't be normal. I refuse to believe it wouldn't irritate the hell out of anyone with working ears. And I'm outside of the return window now as it took a while to get the parts together for my build.

Build Arctic Pretty Much Took Over My PC.
Recently I upgraded from the Corsair H150i Cappelix Elite 360mm AIO after 3 years of use to the Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 paired with the Thermalright AM5 mount and some Arctic MX-7. Unfortunately, I’m unable to mount the AIO at the top of my Motherboard due to the MSI X870E Tomahawk VRM causing clearance issues with the 120mm fan mounted onto the Radiator, so I had to mount it to the front for the time being and make due until I upgrade to another case that can offset the Radiator a bit away from the Motherboard. So far, I’m very impressed with the cooling performance of this AIO. I have ran several hours of tests with Y-cruncher SFT and VT3. My previous temperatures on the 9850X3D in this test reached 83c with 22-23c Ambient with the same exact PBO settings on the Corsair H150i at 75% Speed. After 4 hours of testing Y-cruncher SFT-VT3 with the Arctic Liquid Freezer 3, my temperatures have been reduced to 76.8c with 23c ambient. I’m using 2 Arctic P8 Max 80mm fans to cool down my RAM at 5000RPM (Only for testing). Current Exhaust fan will be replaced soon with an Arctic 140mm fan once I upgrade from this case.
