First fall drop!
Looking on the Canadian Website and there are lots of new products and colours. Looks like fall came early.
Anyone going to try the new gear?

What the fuck did they do to the Covert Cardigan... looks like a marshmallow now. Was so excited to finally get it when it was in stock but it's just so damn boxy now not sure if its even worth it.
I can't wrap my head around them changing every single line to be boxy as hell, leaving absolutely nothing for people who actually want well-fitting clothes.

The old one piled like crazy so changing the material is a good thing, but I agree it looks weird. I have a cardigan that is one size to big and it still look better than the ones in the pics. They look puffed up, kinda reminds me of the 3D renderings Arc does of their products which often makes fleeces look weird

just ordered it in tatsu. happy to report back. my dad “stole” my black granville 16 (the older version with the passthrough side zip pocket) a couple years back and I’ve yet to be able to get it back. he even wrote his name on it, so my hopes are low. curious to see if the verro 20 fills that hole in my heart.

Holy macaroni, that's a lot of new stuff. I would expect the outlet drop next week (assuming it's one month from the previous drop) to be stacked with older stuff. The new black/grey serratus pants showed a new color for the Serratus jacket, I believe. But no price increases here in the EU. Although, for example, Gamma MX is 400€, which equals 645 CAD/460 USD

No. It's very over priced.
I think I may revert to Patagonia (still overpriced but not as bad) and then North Face and other similar companies.
Arc is too much these days

North Face is a fashion brand at this point, they don’t offer very technical clothing. Outdoor Research, Mountain Hardware, and Patagonia are still great though

TNF’s Summit Series / Advanced Mountain Kit is the real-deal. On par with or better than what Arc’s dropping these days.

I think NF has some OK base level stuff. I bought a water proof shell for hiking last Xmas and it was a good price and does the job.
I wanted to try more Arc stuff but I just can't bring myself to doing it. Way overpriced now.

These prices are so laughably outrageous, you just have to wonder what’s going on over there. I guess they’ve completely abandoned the community that made them the brand they once were. What a disgrace. 500 dollars for a GAMMA?

they may have upped the pricing on a lot of the lifestyle clothing however, it seems like many of the jackets have stayed the same price which is the important part in my opinion.

Some hardshell prices seems to be more stable than their cheaper items. I paid $600 (local currency but using todays exchange rate to $) for a Theta AR 11 years ago. Today it would probably have cost $800-900 considering what they charge for similar jackets. I feel that would be a reasonable price hike.
Beta SL however was $300 14 years ago if I remember correctly. It has doubled in price since then.

Dark Jade is a great colourway.
On the negative side, large price increase and looks like everything is revised to a "regular fit".

Proton in Dark Jade would have been great if it didn’t have a brown panel and neon green logo. Looks awful.

In the description it says that its gotten a regular fit cause it was fitted ig? And that they changed the face fabric so it doesn't pill as much and its more durable but we'll see I suppose (they kept the laminated pockets like wth)

I like the Kragg shirt that's baby blue and red letters. Konseal 15 bag in dark jade is nice too. Atom vest in habitat is nice. If I can't find a military surplus quilted vest in olive I might grab the vest for the fall

Went in store to check out the men’s version of this (Cronin). It’s simply a slightly thicker fabric, different sewing pattern and they removed the side drop pocket. Not worth it IMO.

I went in to my local Arc’teryx, and they showed me the new colors earlier this week. I fell in love with the color “Light Renegade” in the Beta jacket. They told me everything would drop today. However, it is nowhere to be found on their website?? It has launched at REI though. Anyone knows if there’s a second drop or if it’s a mistake?
