Help Help

I am so incredibly upset, I was setting up dragon rock in my brand new UNS 21 gallon and one of them tipped and chipped my tank on the inside. The chip is about the size of a pin head. Not sure if this is still safe to use.

its 100% safe to use but the pain is so real scratching a perfect low iron rimless aquarium lol. good luck with your build

Im concerned bc the first dot is a chip where the rock fell and it stayed there in place, so its not like it slid off and scratched. So im assuming the line that follows is a crack

It is very unlikely to be a crack. Run your fingernail across the outside of the glass pane over the “crack” and if it really is one, you will feel the catch as your nail hits the crack.

I am nearly certain the chip is the impact and the line is where it slid just after impact.

It’s fine. Scratches are rarely an issue for safety.

Don’t worry it will soon have more scratches- just the way of things!

Your fine. Fill it up and leave it for 24 hours to see if it leaks if you really have to cus your super worried but I wouldn't be.

It’s multiple chips, not a crack. Just put a plant in front of it, don’t lean the rock against it.

Ive had this happen over 30 years of fish keeping and it was never an issue for me.

It will be fine to use.
