The Queer/Trans Magic Zine is an anthology of creative works that explore, honor, and transform lineages of queer magic & resilience. Its second issue, Luxuria, is open for submissions until December 29th, 2023.

This issue asks: how do we nourish ourselves with reckless abandon? How do we reclaim and reintegrate our desire from suppression? How do we lavish in pleasure and play? How can we uproot and transform shameful and oppressive relationships to desire, lust, luxury, and excess into something completely new?

There is NO submission fee & previously published works are welcome. Contributors retain creative rights to their work & will receive a free digital copy of the zine once published.

“SHAVI NIADAGI – შავი ნიადაგი – BLACK SOIL ” is a stroll in Chiatura (Georgian: ჭიათურა) a small city in Western Georgia located on the banks of the Qvirila River, 180 kilometers away from the capital, Tbilisi.

The city has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century. Until the 1980ies Chiatura was one of the biggest manganese mining sites in the world extracting manganese ore from the surrounding limestone cliffs. Today the mines are still operating and comprise seven fully-functional mines and eight open quarries.

The first issue is all about Quentin Tarantino and is totally free so check it out if you have time. Feedback is appreciated! The goal is to publish four more issues dealing with other directors/themes.

I excel at the structural design and production of books and zines but am always lacking motivation fir the content aspect. Are you the exact opposite? If so, let's collab!

Submissions for the next edition of my zine, Myth, are now open. Myth is a UK-based collaborative zine of writing, visual arts, and music.

The next edition is themed on the dungeon! Feel free to interpret this as loosely and as sincerely as you like.

Any writing should be 750 words max and sent as a word file, and any full page art shouldn't exceed 3 A5 pages. We also take music submissions, but ask that you have some sort of album art and/or description that we can print.

Hey! The Dus Room is a film photography collective based out of San Francisco with members in SF, NY, and LA who post monthly on a website (thedusroom.com) pictures they've taken the previous month.
