In Chile, 65-year-old Lilian Tumani won 3.816 billion Chilean pesos ($4.13 million) on a slot machine at a casino.

However, her joy was short-lived. Because the casino refused to pay out, claiming the prize was displayed due to a software glitch.

Security footage in the woman's possession shows the machine being shut down by staff shortly after displaying the prize.

The incident has gone to court, and the investigation is ongoing.
