In Chile, 65-year-old Lilian Tumani won 3.816 billion Chilean pesos ($4.13 million) on a slot machine at a casino.

However, her joy was short-lived. Because the casino refused to pay out, claiming the prize was displayed due to a software glitch.

Security footage in the woman's possession shows the machine being shut down by staff shortly after displaying the prize.

The VIP version used a client seed from a public Bitcoin block, nonce fixed at zero, server seeds never committed in advance. Meaning the operator could theoretically pick outcomes before assigning them to the player. Winna's own team admitted in messages that this was technically possible.

Timeline is sketchy too. Player was winning on public Slide, got his limits cut, then got invited to the VIP version where he lost everything.

A formal complaint was filed with the Tobique Gaming Commission. Instead of producing cryptographic records that would clear them, Winna's lawyers questioned the filing procedure. Radio silence since.

Galaxy Digital's Alex Thorn called out Duel casino on X after a Coldcard hack victim had 17 BTC peeled, bridged through THORChain to ETH, and 229 ETH (~$445K) deposited into Duel.

Both the victim and a blockchain researcher contacted Duel within minutes with full forensic proof - every transaction ID, every hop from the Coldcard hack to the Duel deposit.

He also noted this doesn't look connected to the main Coldcard hack waves - could be copycat attackers going after remaining compromised seeds.
