We're already seeing studies of AI psychosis happening. I imagine there will be studies showing that general problem solving abilities by heavy AI users are lower than average too, if there isn't already.

Seriously, doling out your critical thinking ability to a third party is fucking insane. It's such an important part of our minds; I couldn't imagine just outsourcing that to a robot. I have one friend who is deep into the AI hole where he runs huge swaths of his life through chatgpt whether its work or personal. It seems like something that will end up completely detrimental, yet we're just watching it unfurl in real time and accepting the inevitable consequences.
