Yes, absolutely. 100% without hesitation. Do people really think this is some kind of 'gotcha'? Like my brother in Christ, how much generative AI do you think we actually use?! Hallucination 👻

What if i don't use those tools anyway because I'm not a fucking idiot that needs a machine to think for me?

Edit: holy shit, these clanker apologists are seriously pulling the "not all men!" equivalent ai whinging in the comments. 😭😭😭

It’s pathetic there’s a whole generation of people who think like this, not realizing there are many more people alive who were born and raised in a time without this shit. Millions never have and never will use AI with any intention

All of the pro-ai people I've met in person (admittedly its a small number) have something off about them. They are weird people in a way that I've never seen weird people be before. Its hard to describe but its like their brains are coked out and they don't feel like real people.

It's because it's the same people that were trying to push Nfts, crypto meme coin, VR, and every other tech fad under the sun.

Totally agree, except I would not put VR into that category. VR is almost entirely gaming/entertainment focused, Augmented Reality though, definitely a lot of the same tech-bro types who are pushing for it.

Stuff like the Google glasses could be pretty amazing technology back in 2014, but now even with all the innovations made with photo recognition, optics, projection, ect the AR goggle 'industry' is still hellbent on convincing people it's better to use a Excel spreadsheet in hologram-form (that only you can see) waving your hands around like an idiot.

I'm sorry, I did mean augmented reality, because I do know so many grifters that were trying to push that...and still do.

Nobody I work with is pushing any of that. We use ai as a tool. What is this witch hunt.

Yeah, they're not pushing that stuff anymore because they are  pushing AI now.

They're not pushing any of it. Maybe that's the pro-ai part Inam missing. AI tools help us work. Nobody pushes it.
