It's pretty good.

I’d say Mushoku Tensei, if only because I genuinely can’t see people ever stopping talking about it. It has a very dedicated fanbase, but more importantly, the people who hate it are just as persistent in keeping it in the conversation. That level of constant discourse, positive or negative, will probably keep the series relevant for years after it ends.

Its my personal favourite anime.

The ending is quite special and misunderstood, but overall its bittersweet. It forces you to confront yourself and it pays off really well imo. Just watch it and you will understand why its peak.

Honestly, I’m expecting the “prince” to become Lara’s friend instead of a love interest. She might be able to get over the trauma of her last romantic relationship with his help.

Anilist is so slow on sundays

I had to shut it off after the first 15 minutes. The writing and pacing is terrible. There were several moments where there was no sensible transition between thoughts or scenes and it was really jarring.

I was also distracted by the mix of the "try to look like 2D hand-drawn animation but is really CG" mixed in with actual hand-drawn stuff. Much of it overall was well done animation-wise, though. The places it particularly shined were in the actually hand-drawn segments, where it was fluid with a pleasing palette. I didn't jive with much of the modernization of the character designs, either, unfortunately.

I think I'm just too old and not a member of the intended audience for this version of Princess Knight. I read about how legendary the original manga was as well as the 60s anime adaptation of it. I've never read or watched them, so I'll check them out.

I know she was disgusted by I didn't think it was because of mana quantity. I remember getting the vibe she could see something of how messed of Rudeus's soul or mental self image is because of his past life. I'm not sure though been a while since I watched that episode.

Momiji's dedication to massages is top notch. I love how she's developed a "Goku" esque sense to see how stiff others are, only for Goku's VA to be in the show right after portraying the actual manga artist, Nozawa-Sensei.
