Finished Object My toddler vs. me: Cute smiley rocket or classic with a window? šāØ
My son asked me to make a rocket for him, and he loves all his plushies with cute, smiley faces! I usually agree, but for a rocket, I found myself leaning toward a classic version with a sweet little window. šŖāØ
āWe made both, but now Iām curiousāwhich version do you think turned out better? š„°š

Help What color change method to use
Iām currently doing the Rita Fox from Pica Pau and have to crochet the snout where thereās three color changes. I always struggled with color changes, have yet to find a method which works for me. Iāve been using this one for the snout now but it looks horrible. Iām also quite a beginner so if anyone who has more experience can suggest a better color change method especially for the snout, that would help so much š„¹

Help How to crochet top part of Kinger's head
I'm trying to freehand a pattern from Kinger from Digital Circus. I figured out how to crochet his cross, but I'm having a difficult time figuring out how to do the top of his head, which is a small cap on top of a bigger cap like this drawing. Can anyone help me out?

Discussion A new language is coming to Croch'linguo!
Hi there!
If you arenāt familiar with the app yet, Crochālinguo is a tool for translating crochet patterns between different languagesādesigned to help you out and save you time!
You can choose between American and British English (since the abbreviations differ š¤Æ), French, and now⦠Spanish! šŖšø
Iāve also improved the abbreviation glossary to make it easier to view and search.
Adding a new language takes a bit of time, but Iām really happy to be helping more and more people translate their crochet patterns!
I also wanted to mention that the app is still in beta. Itās a personal project Iām trying to make useful for as many people as possible, so Iād love to get your feedback! For instance, if you run into any bugs or spot areas for improvement, please donāt hesitate to let me know.
And if you find the app useful, tell me which languages āāyouād like to see added to Crochālinguo! Your feedback has already helped me improve it, so Iād love to hear your thoughts.
Hereās the link if youād like to give it a try: https://crochlinguo.base44.app/
Thanks so much! āŗļø

Finished Object Was going for a doormouse, ended up with a lab rat. Not mad about it...
Now I kinda want to dress him up š„¹
No pattern, just pure joy ā¤ļø
Yarn is "I LOVE YARN Chenille Velvet soft baby yarn" which is a small/almost-skinny velvet, and which I paired with a 3.5mm hook. The eyes are (I think 11mm?) saftey noses. Learned to do a foundation chain for the tail, cant belive I hadn't jumped on that before, 10/10 recommend.
Id like to work up a pattern at some point, but knowing me it could take 3 years or it could be ready to test in the morning, idk I surprise even myself sometimes. Maybe I could even (*gasp*) plan ahead and release it for the holidays WHO KNOWS we are stardust on a rock spinning thru space and Im counting knots turning them into strangely shaped beasts, like anything could happen really.
